Sad story. Friend of mine worked on radio towers. The all ones are anything from 1,000 to 2,000 foot tall. He was going to help some men who were working on the tower. As he approached in a car he saw the tower fail, and the falling men, who might have tried to jump off rather than ride the tower down. For one of them all they could find was his hair sticking out of the ground. His body was berried feet first. Not sure why his hands were not sticking out. Very morbid. Still gives my friend the willies when he approaches tall radio towers. Impacting the earth at speed is not a good idea.
