Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:09/13/2025 05:27:00Copy HTML Anecdotal see the same phenomena myself from 20 something crowd. Older women celebrate feminine body shape looking like a women. Yet frown upon men trying to wear leggings. Either by not being personable or avoid looking all together. Avoiding, ignoring a man wearing leggings as outcast from ordinary fashion attire. Very uncomfortable talking to younger women who hide under loose clothing. Younger female generation sole exsistance revolves around lifting heavy weights being stronger than many men in the gym. There bodies are hidden under loose clothing only for brief time while they attempt to wear leggings or tight completely covered top hiding upper body tattoos.
Only to feel uncomfortable from leering eyes like myself. Unaware they look special compared to ordinary women you see.
Appears younger brains haven’t matured to activities purpose they developed. Only to be fearful riddled with anxiety feeling not accepted in society. Which is not the case but brain lies to them feeling inadequacy. |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:09/14/2025 09:28:20Copy HTML Fashion, especially women's fashion, is very variable and cyclical.
In the past, it took 3 / 5 years to have a change.
Nowadays, it is the fast fashion. It can change in a few months because clothes are cheap and you can buy them directly on temu, aliexpress, etc...
For sports, I didn't notice a switch. May be there are more women who wear short shorts instead of bike tight short. But during winter, long leggings are the best.
For casual wear, yes, there are less and less tight pants, for my biggest despair. However, I notice more and more mini skirts whereas I didn't see one during several years.
Well, fashion is cyclical. Tight pants will come back in a few years.
Actually, short shorts and mini skirts are the new trend.
Well, at least, as a men, I can wear short shorts for my running workout (totally normal here). |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:09/17/2025 03:43:31Copy HTML Stringuer:
Here in the USA midwest I haven't noticed too much of a difference. Of course a lot of guys wear track pants or sweats. This past summer I've noticed more guys wearing mid-thigh shorts both at the gym and out and about, which is some progress. It's still pretty rare to see a guy wearing just leggings and a t-shirt though. There might be a few more young ladies (teens and 20s) wearing sweat bottoms. I kinda wonder if this is a result of the increase of "social bullying" that we keep hearing about in the last decade for young people.
However, there does seem to be somewhat of an increase in women wearing loose short running type shorts, and also very short legging type shorts, some showing a little cheek. I have seen a few mini skirts, but that seems to be more "evening" or club wear; some mini skirts are very short but have a pair of legging type short shorts underneath.
Just as a general observation, though, this summer I've seen quite an increase in women, ages anywhere from 20s to 50s, wearing super-revealing leggings not only in the gym but out and about. Usually with a waist length t-shirt but sometimes with an exercise type bra top, also even when out and about. I'm talking about leggings with not only a deep scrunch in the back, but the front is cut to fit around their pubic area like a second skin--usually no camel toe, but occasionally will see that too--but it's like a *very* spray-painted on look. And typically in light colors or prints, all of which combine to really hide nothing. (don't get me wrong--I'm not complaining here ;-) ) Maybe it's because we've had some very hot days here in the midwest this past summer and late summer, and the breathability of leggings are generally better than jeans. But these ladies are wearing them around confidently just like they're regular jeans.
I can't help but include some legging comment from the "average guy" side. I have been wearing seamless mild scrunch leggings to the gym and then out running errands afterwards (a compromise with my wife) for about 2 years now and *really* like the comfort of leggings. I've mentioned this in a previous post, but when I have to switch back to jeans it's incredible the comfort difference. (and I'm still looking for a brand of seamless leggings that will fit me with a deep scrunch in the back. From what I've read it's almost like wearing a thong in public)
This has been posted this before, and I'd like to throw this out for further discussion. If we guys are going to get more acceptability of men wearing leggings in public, we're going to have to "just do it"! I know that the "visuals" of a man in leggings is different than a woman; I get it. And the "problem" doesn't seem to be the man's butt--we could probably wear anything from a "regular" fit in the back legging to a deep scrunch and there wouldn't be much reaction. The "problem" always seems to be The Package in front. From what I've seen, read, and experienced, a good compromise seems to be a t-shirt or tank top hemline that covers about half the package in the front and half the butt in the back when standing normally. A longer hemline starts looking like we're wearing a mini skirt, tends to look like we're self-conscious and "covering up" and doesn't "promote 'The Cause'" of men wearing leggings. A shorter hemline and it may seem like we're too "out there", showing off, creepy, or a bit too much for the present environment. JMHO. I welcome other opinions or experiences; especially from you guys that have posted that they wear leggings every day or when traveling. What's your favorite length and/or your experiences or reactions that you've gotten in public. Are you wearing "regular" leggings or scrunch. Men or womens leggings. (I tend to dislike men's leggings because they have the seams in the front that make them look like underwear). Anyway...your experience, input, or guidance would be appreciated. |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:09/17/2025 05:26:35Copy HTML SlimSuit, fully agree that hemline length influences my choice of top, if over leggings. a thong or short shorts.
I like running singlet type tank tops with a curved hemline that is longer in the front and back but shorter on the sides. Also tops where the side seams are split up a couple of inches from the bottom.
Sometimes mesh backs or or translucent fabrics help obscure the outline for casual viewers while still staying cool in the heat. |

I've seen the type of singlet top that you're talking about. (curved hemline that is longer in the front and back but shorter on the sides) That style is kinda hard to find in the stores around here. Pretty much have to order them online. That can be another good look--once again, if the hemline isn't too long. The split-side shorts you mentioned are especially practical for running. (I was a long-time runner but had to stop due to injury) I previously wore cotton gym shorts until I ran a distance race--I ended up with inner thigh abrasion. After that I wore only silky split-side running shorts.

Yes, those are great looking jeans that are a good "fashion forward" for guys. I don't quite follow how that relates to men wearing leggings though, and why the "put up or shut up" comment. But hey, if those jeans are working for you, good for you!
Beached_Santa_Cruz:
Thanks for the heads-up about Fabletics leggings at Costco. I don't have a membership, but good to know. How well do they fit, especially in the front. Comfortable? Are they scrunch or "regular" fit leggings. I'm guessing the fit is good since you're planning to get more. Especially good that you're venturing into other colors other than just black. Sounds like your wife is ok with you wearing leggings too. Where does your top's (t-shirt?) hemline land? Thanks for "promoting The Cause" of men wearing leggings. |

I wear a t-shirt or sweatshirt with them. My shirts land about 3-4 inches short of my crotch. I'm not trying to hide or show anything. My wife has always supported my leggings habit. She wanted to try the new ones on but she is a bit wider than me and I said that she would have to get her own and probably go up a size from mine.

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:10/14/2025 04:30:52Copy HTML Beached_Santa_Cruz:
Hey, if the Fabletics leggings fit, then that's all that matters. Even better that your wife supports you and likes them! (both on you and her :-) ) It would be kinda cool if you and your wife would go out and about wearing matching leggings. As far as the shirt hemline goes, I think where yours lands (3-4 inches short of crotch) seems acceptable for most situations/locations for guys. For me that shows about half my package in the front and half my butt in the back; enough to show that I'm definitely *not* wearing shorts over my leggings, but not too much of the "controversial" package to raise eyebrows (at least where I live). Unfortunately, it seems that shirts that I find that fit my shoulders and chest are long enough to hide my package and butt, so I'm always on the hunt for a shirt that will give that "ideal" coverage. I would really like to wear a couple tank tops that I have that are about another 2-3"shorter and would show all the package and 3/4 of my butt, but my wife doesn't like me in public wearing that, even at just the gym. She doesn't mind me wearing that around the house though; she likes the view. ;-)
reficul2:
Sorry I misinterpreted your "put up or shut up" comment. I didn't realize you were indicating yourself and not everyone on the board. Although the stretchy jeans you mentioned aren't quite leggings, now that I think about it, since they are stretchy and tight-fitting they *do* help promote The Cause of men wearing body-conscious clothing.
Speaking of body-conscious clothing, I just saw a commercial on TV showing a middle-aged guy on a treadmill. He was wearing a t-shirt and wearing maybe about 3" shorts, a pretty average body type (not buff, but not super overweight). I wasn't paying close attention (I tend to mentally tune out commercials) but a young woman came in the room to talk to him and did an eyeroll about his shorts and the voiceover said something about ordered something for more coverage. His shorts weren't showing cheek, not even close. For a woman, the shorts length would be considered quite conservative. But here we go again...body shaming for guys that dare wear anything not big and baggy. So frustrating! |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:10/15/2025 06:54:15Copy HTML Anyone try scrunch leggings that are buttery soft and elastic?
Scrunch backside puckering fabric like many scrunch leggings appears obvious and silly.
Oner Active leggings gives modest lower glute scrunch, without top fabric puckering.
DFYNE impact leggings lower waistband have countour lower waistband that appears as whale tail.
Find them at Ali-express one of which has no logos and feel very soft and stretchy. Unlike other colors i bought with DFYNE logo.
Light colors are transparent at the glutes but not noticeable. Wearing light grey leggings did notice trainer and his client observe me from a distance reacting as i squat. Didn’t care if my seamless hot pink thong showed through. Since the leggings contour the buttocks shape i was not self conscious. Although it was surprise to trainers female posh older client. Gal never speaks to me but do see her paying attention. Often believe someone has nothing nice to say to someone they stay silent avoiding any greeting or comment.
Wearing scrunch leggings or any leggings often makes some women upset or perturbed. Since many posh women feel it’s their domain to outfit themselves in leggings not men. Otherwise they have contempt for such individuals..
Reason i mind my business sensing from some women’s outfits and visual reaction to not engage in chit chat. Otherwise problems might surface expressing their anger how i’m outfitted in the gym. Fun to watch gal workout nearby but not responding, yet feel she has some inclination to get something off her mind regarding my outfits. Learned to accept women who are angry at men wearing leggings. Brings slight smirk and satisfaction that angry women can’t accept man in leggings. Or very least detests what her eyes stare upon in close proximity yet never dare express her hate. |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:11/19/2025 07:17:51Copy HTML Well we're approaching winter here in the northern hemisphere and it's getting cold enough that I'm starting to wear sweats over my leggings when I go to the gym. (I do take the sweats off when I get to the gym though)
However, through the summer I just would wear seamless black leggings with a "mild" scrunch, with a black t-shirt that covered about half of my package in front and about half of my butt. I'm happy to report that I never had any comments, eyerolls, or other negative reactions at the gym or running errands to or from the gym. Hopefully we men are making progress for acceptability of wearing leggings without shorts over them. |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:11/19/2025 07:32:16Copy HTML Since my out of doors season is over I’ve returned to the gym for the winter months. I have some pretty outrageous prints and loud color legging for my daily workouts. I always wear a thong underneath. Because my leggings are form fitted there is no mistake that my bulge is evident. I’m not one to hide what I have with a long shirt or shorts. It doesn’t seem to matter. I always have fellow gym talking with me, making comments about the color or print design, or taking about the hard work they see me doing. I present as a positive and joyful individual. I believe that is what draws people to me. Either before or after my workouts I will make a stop at a store. The other day I had three people stop me to tell me how much they liked what I was wearing. Just being confident, friendly and having a smile is the best way to have people be be easy with me. |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:11/19/2025 09:31:22Copy HTML Fun part wearing leggings being only male. Lot assumptions can be labeled reason why male wears leggings especially female style.
More times then not people ignore my leggings outfit. Don’t interact with me only because fear not complying with mainstream subscribed athletic wear.
Gals intrigued distracted glancing what bright cartoon color outfit i choose to wear at any given day. Smirks on ladies faces tells me all i need to know about legging outfit.
When i turn down the volume in color leggings some may notice only because they willing to wear same color outfit.
Married gal i known for decade complimenting me of dark blue leggings and matching tank. She saying never seen me in that color before.
Shrugged it off explaining color name. Couple days later i greeted her wearing same dark blue tank and leggings. Nothing was said, through my expression and scanning her down head to toe explained everything. Satisfied smile on her face was easily assumed she liked the color way i appeared days earlier wanted same outfit.
Only time me and married gal talk openly about outfit i wear. Asking questions how many running shoes i own or type of legging brand i wear. When we wear coincidentally same legging color or tank. She can’t ignore it mentioning we have same taste today with our outfit.
For some odd reason that remark from the gal is stimulating. Both attracted to same color and style workout wear. Mild smile close attraction between us is discovered. Only to be erased when her husband interrupts.
So there is sort of sexual dynamic exposing male body towards women that don’t look. Yet they do want me to look and discover their outfits standing in my line of sight for brief time.
Exposing their shape and sexual aura in scrunch leggings or shorts. |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:11/24/2025 08:32:42Copy HTML I had the most pleasant comments to day. I went to the gym this morning wearing black leggings with a multicolored print of dreamcatchers and feathers and a light blue shirt. I have a black wither jacket with a multicolored print of southwestern/Aztec symbols. As I walked in the desk clerk gave me a big smile and made mention of how good I looked. In the gym I got the usual “ I like your leggings/pants.” That is fairly normal. After my workout I needed to make a run to Costco to pick up a few items for Thanksgiving dinner. As I am wandering through the store I had an attractive woman stop me. “I really like your outfit. That is very attractive.” She said to me. Then as I was leaving one of the male employees called out to me, “you’re really rocking that outfit.” Two unsolicited compliments in a place like Costco had me surprised and happy. |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:09/16/2026 03:15:39Copy HTML I've made entries under this topic before, but it's been awhile
since I've posted, so I'll do an update of my "leggings journey
and thoughts". Please forgive some societal rants that I will
also probably throw in.
I originally started wearing tights years ago as a runner in
cooler weather, and also when I played volleyball (indoors). I
REALLY liked the comfort, feel, and look of tights (wearing
a thong underneath for support) and would leave them on when
doing errands before or after running or volleyball. Years ago
it didn't seem to be that big of a deal for a guy to wear
tights. No one seemed too concerned or offended by the skin
tight look or the visibility of The Package. In warm weather I
really liked wearing lightweight synthetic running shorts with
about a 3" inseam. They were not only cool (temperature-wise)
but also quite comfortable. (I originally started running wearing
the old-fashioned cotton gym shorts. But as my mileage increased
I discovered they caused abrasion on my inner thighs)
That all changed in the 1990s when men's clothing in general
went to Big & Baggy. Men wearing tights, and short running
shorts, even just for exercise, pretty much disappeared and
was replaced by big and baggy boxer shorts that came to the
knee and even to the mid calf. T-shirts and tanks also became
big and baggy, as well as men's clothing in general. Going
in to the 2000s this even influenced men's underwear to the
extent that today more than 95% on store shelving has boxer
style legs. You really have to search to find briefs and
bikini (low-rise) men's underwear. (In contrast women's un-
derwear greatly expanded to bikinis, string bikinis, thongs
and g-strings. There are now even thong body suits.)
I refused as best I could to give in to Big and Baggy, es-
pecially for exercise. But to find tights and running
shorts I had to go to a "serious running store" as even
mainstream sporting goods stores would only carry Big and
Baggy. Mixed in with this Big and Baggy change there
came a cultural change that, in my opinion, amounted to
male body shaming. Males wearing bikinis at the beach
became vitually non-existant because "nobody wants to
see that!" (meaning The Package) or "my children
shouldn't see that!". There were also undercurrents
that men should not enjoy sensuality or sexuality or
any expressions thereof--it became associated with
being "pervy" or even branded as Toxic Masculinity.
Through all this women could wear pretty much whatever
they desired. This expanded even further around 2010 when
the athleisurewear leggings fashion movement started
--well, for the ladies anyway--and with it came a
whole new blend of stretchy tights-like materials, but so
much better than the old nylon-lycra blends. And not long
after came the tiktok scrunch butt leggings craze which
evolved into the smooth hidden scrunch, also followed by
seamless leggings that have no seam up the front. (once
again, all for the ladies) Such womens athletic wear
revealed virtually every aspect of their bodies, es-
pecially with regard to the butt and pubic area.Seamless
scrunch leggings were accepted as "everday clothing"
outside of the gym. Athleisurewear became yet another way
for women to be able to be openly body expressive (show-
ing more and more). Meawhile it's still been Big and
Baggy for us "Average Guys".
That brings us to today. There are glimmers of hope.
Mens casual shorts on store shelves are becoming a bit
shorter. Some men are starting to wear body-expressive
clothes, therefore this thread. And while Average Guys
wearing leggings (without shorts) kinda parallels thong
wearing, I think it's even a more difficult societal
hurdle because we're trying to spread men wearing
leggings (without shorts) into regular every-day en-
vironments, in contrast to thong swimwear which is
generally only worn at the beach/pool. |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:09/17/2026 09:17:34Copy HTML Oddly enough time i joined the gym when fashion turned very modest. From gals wearing micro shorts and thong neon colored leotards and ankle sleeves.
Only single gal i observed in the gym kept the fashion thong leotard alive when fashion trends faded. She appeared remarkably fit.
Women began the new brand lululemon modest black bootcut pants with jacket sleeves tied around their waist.
Observing almost none wearing leggings or tights in the gym. Few Latinas or serious long distance marathon runners wore adidas leggings with side thrills stripe. That when i began my journey wearing spandex shorts alone with loose athletic polyester T-shirt.
Visiting other gyms i rarely frequent gotten too much attention. Strange, odd glances interpreted as negative.
Streamlined my fashion sense with tight spandex tops. This gained more attention and commentary.
Alienated many people, avoiding being careful not to be friendly or supportive.
Soon i graduated to running tights for men and later dance tights. Which many women wore on the street at the time not the gym.
Being only one at times wearing tights some acquaintances repeated what they overheard gals gossiping about my new look.
Comments were shocking that many found me hot.
This fueled my style to fashion most popular ground breaking leggings trend women began to wear.
Fashioned with most recent styles color choices this began a road i never turned back.
At this point people just watched not voicing anything to me. |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:09/20/2026 07:51:12Copy HTML As a straight male, years ago, I always thought (was told?) that tights on men were taboo. A few years back, however, I took the plunge and ordered a few things from Arroyman (zungas.com). I ordered a pair of their Bulge Runner tights in a very revealing, thin, black fabric. These were for around the house when colder outside. They were the most comfortable things I ever put on. One of our nudist friends called them "pantyhose" when visiting them. I also ordered their blue Bulge Runner shorts. Both of the above have a rear center seam for a very smooth, bun hugging, skin tight look (not the gathered, scrunch look). The bulge is rather pronounced but is still a bit too small for me, but ok because it's a bit stretchy. I have worn the blue Bulge Runner shorts as a beach coverup over my Fireboy Deep String thongs. They are not see through but tight enough to plainly see the thong "telegraphing" through. The Arroyman fabric selection seems to change a lot and I want to order the Bulge Runner shorts in a semi-see through, black fabric to wear as a coverup over my thongs.
I am looking forward to getting the skin tight, semi-see through, short tights as coverup to show I'm a proud thong wearer while going to and from the beach. I like the look and I think it's similar to a woman wearing a see through sarong over thong. That is quite acceptable today (I've seen many in beach towns and beach bars in FL) but would love it if guys could be equally accepted showing their assets. I know many lady friends who appreciate the male anatomy and guys in thongs but, unfortunately, they're not the ones we need to convince.
More recently, I ordered some Real Men tights/leggings and I really like them. They are affordable, decent quality and with the "D" pouch, a really good fit for me. I first ordered the gray modal ones and quickly ordered a second pair. Very comfy around the house but Elle won't let me wear them "in public." She says they're a little too showy. After those I decided to try their nylon tights and really like them, especially because the "D" pouch works so well for me. I got them in black and white. If you wear a thong under the white ones, you'll see it...;) If they had a little better bun hugging, they'd be near perfect in my book. They have a cell phone pocket which I thought was a little gimmicky, but I actually use it. Get 'em on Amazon and have 'em the next day!

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:10/08/2026 06:19:24Copy HTML Feeling really down today. I've been wearing black seamless hidden scrunch leggings for almost two years now. This past summer I saw NO guys wearing leggings or shorts leggings without shorts over the top of them. And when running errands after gym I haven't seen any guys wearing leggings. I haven't really had any issues either at the gym or running errands. Maybe a side glance or two. But...
Somehow, I wish Average Guys out there could realize how comfortable leggings are. I like wearing my leggings, but I also wish I could see some other guys wearing them too. I know, I know--you do you. But I guess by being the ONLY one wearing leggings I'm feeling the subliminal but strong societal pressure put on men to conform and hide (or be ashamed of) our bodies. And not just about leggings. Look at videos of beaches around the world. Even in Brazil, where 98% of the women are wearing thongs, maybe 20% of the men are wearing bikinis (aka Speedos) but the rest are in board shorts. NO thongs that I see. And you're considered weird if a guy talks about this sort of stuff. (thankfully there's at least this forum)
Sorry. Just really feeling defeated and out of sorts about being The Only One. |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:10/08/2026 07:07:05Copy HTML slimsuit: Your in temporary funk i get it.
Don’t get them leggings tied in a knot or give and dispose throwing them out. Hear your frustration well. Know the silence about your choice spandex as everyday wear can easily be compliments. Only that others are afraid to admit it. Feeling awkward or be confused as cruising gay flirtation or female infatuation.
I’m in same leggings boat being only one but need to be mentally strong.
Straight Male i known observed me closely, explaining he wish to wear leggings. Only problem feeling uncomfortable, because he says, “doesn’t have big enough bulge to display like you”.
Everyone has doubts and thoughts of swimming upstream against the norms of society behavioural fashion styles.
Thoughts about quitting also not wanting to carry them heavy bricks on my back daily.
Positive thoughts, your mentally stronger than most dudes being brave. Secondly you enjoy the look of leggings and fit. So why stop because your neighbor doesn’t copy the style also.
My motivation recently was locking eyes with married women in her golden years i recognized for more than two decades but never dare spoken to.
Reason being never saying hello, because she voiced her disgust long time ago to the husband openly about my leggings, short shorts style. Purposely tactically wearing identical color and brand tank tops and leggings as her.
Could see change in her physique, best shape in her life, six pack abs. Assume she didn’t want to bulk up keeping feminine shape all those years. Now she noticing younger males her sons age, flirting with compliments about fit mommy body to her delight.
Know i leave a fashion mark in her mind tasteful pastel color choices.
Recently noticed her scan me over double take what i assume enjoying my bland pallete choice gym outfit. Later she was chatting with mutual female friend. From a distance coincidentally both of us locked eyes as she got distracted from her conversation. Sometimes perseverance pays off even though i maybe projecting my beliefs upon her. Whatever her perception in life maybe recently divorced, son out of house. She maybe looking to rekindle her glamorous early years one final time before old retired age creeps up to her physical appearance. Why not rekindle some hidden desires she kept denying herself choosing unique men to date having good time sharing her new built body. Fyi, observed legging deconstruction video of how dupes compare to align leggings. Appears leggings from CrZ uplifting are 70% match which none can tell the difference. Watching ads on IG linking them as align substitute. Maybe give them a try. Envy of fashion choice you make someone sooner or later will copy your style. If they admit it or not. Be trend setter rather ones that follower like a sheep. You feel more vindicated and confident. |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:10/08/2026 07:14:43Copy HTML Hey SlimSuit, be kind to yourself. I know there are very few men courageous as you are to wear leggings and thongs. I also speak from personal experience. All summer I was the only man on the beach wearing anything smaller than board shorts. Not a square cut, brief, Speedo or bikini on a man at all. At the gym and in the community I don’t see any other man wearing leggings. I am the lone bold man to wear leggings. I do get positive comments about my clothing choices and get told that I am bold and that they wish they had the confidence I have. In the end it is people like you and me that encourage others to be more confident, bold and dare I say sexy.
I know it is not always easy being the most unique person in your environment. The pay off is you are the one showing the rest of the world how to be true to yourself, how to live comfortably and how to be confident. I have never fit in with my fashion choices. I have been called weird and many other names. I’ve had my sexually questioned or assumed (mostly wrongly). On the other hand I have been told; I wish I had your confidence, I love your leggings, I wish I could wear something like that, you look really good, you rock that thong, I wish my man would wear a thong, and many more positive comments.
Remember we are trailblazers. We are showing the rest of the world joy. We own your bodies, sexually and our happiness. Good for you being bold enough to wear thongs and leggings. I wish more men would join us. Until they do, remember you are not alone. |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:10/11/2026 04:44:53Copy HTML I like short shorts, even more than scrunch butt leggings. So, when I wear my scrunch butt tights, they are very short, the way I like them. I too, don't see men wear scrunch tight shorts, but shorts on men in general are getting shorter, albeit slowly.
There's always going to be men/women that think my outfits and swimwear are too small/provocative, but don't say it. I also get the approval at times, but rarely. Women would say it, but never the men, likely out of fear.
It's getting colder now, so I will wear my leggings once in a while. I will miss wearing my short ones coupled with form fitted short hem running T's.
Slimsuit, you love them. Just keep wearing them!! |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:10/11/2026 04:51:25Copy HTML Oh, my previous post on Sep 21 where the mall cop stopped me and thought I was wearing underwear, I was thinking he/someone didn't like my bun hugging tights. But, only recently did it occur to me that it could have been the "bulge outline, which was pointed up". LoL, I don't really know. |

Re:Running tights & leggings Date Posted:10/15/2026 08:21:16Copy HTML Noticing fit 30 year old petite amateur bikini brazilian competitor female trainer. With new older female client. Older female tan client appeared athletic physique like a tennis player. Both gals wearing black leggings pants in different styles. Client in black non branded crop leggings and dark heathered tank top. Trainer in black boot cut style leggings bulging her leg muscles from calves, hamstrings, quads and bubble buns partially covered with trainers jacket.
Noticed the two gals when they met starting the one hour training session.
Wearing my posh brand sage green leggings and grey hip length compression tank top. Outlining my entire lean physique. Confidently enjoying tight gym outfit, color choice and accomplished lean skinny physique front to back very comfortable in my skin. Enjoyed what i seen in the gym mirror.
Noticed same two gals, the trainer and older newbie client sharing hip thrust equipment with another scantily clad in yellow spandex short shorts female next to piece of gym equipment. Soon i was about to use approaching next to the glute thrust machine only few feet away in closed quarters against bay outdoor wall window.
As we all continued our exercises minding our business. The older female client resting between sets. Commenting to her trainer as they shuffled closer facing my machine giving room for the other gal, in order to train on glute apparatus.
Overhearing them silently commenting as client was new to the gym and noticing different members body size, shapes, age, gender overall gym vibe atmosphere.
Then client made observation about me as i was slowly turning away prepared another set, my back facing them. Mumbling softly something about, he is leaving nothing to the imagination, bulge shaft outline is noticeable. This was made with with stoic tone as the female fit trainer didn’t blink or sound surprised. Silently softly replying accent, he often wears gym tights, to purposefully accentuate it’s size. Slight pause adding, best not to stare. Client responded, calmly, indeed.. As they both facing me as i prepared turning around to use the equipment having my back towards them both.
We all went on minding our business only later they came to ab exercise exercise machine i was currently waiting in using. Nothing was said or asked. Both gals standing nearby waiting once i was done the exercise. Walked away grabbing my towel water bottle without any of them asking if i was done or currently using it. Trainer waiting preoccupied on her phone facing my direction. Meanwhile client stood waiting scanning the area and other people.
Never had i talked with the female for trainer. Always thought she was polite without judgement with my gym outfit. Sure i get few smirks or smiles whenever we pass one another in recognition.
After that experience started to begin thinking some people are convinced i’m wearing leggings just to flaunt my bulge. |
