Both are very comfortable and true to size. I am a 34/35 inch waist and can wear a M or L but prefer the M. Its not tight at all. The suits are unlined but still hide your outline enough. The Roman is very skimpy - it gets me lots of attention from guys and girls; especially when I tan alone without my wife, lol. I'm considering ordering a Spartan or a Stuffit g-string for this summer since I love the string suits so much.

The rears are, with a few exceptions, cut to fully cover the butt. I'm a M and if I size up I end up with too much butt coverage and some gathering. I can size down to S without any issues.

I was going to but some skinny sided thongs from them but can't justify this price. Ended up getting 3 thongs from Prevail Sport - all new models for me, so will have to see what they are like on once I get them. I like my muscleskins too and have the 1/2" posers but want something with a LITTLE larger tail than the Muscleskins.

They basic thongs are still in the mid-$20 range but once you start adding in features such as the inner panel and specialty cuts/fabric the price definately goes up. You really have to get on their mailing list and take advantage of the monthly sales. But move quickly as the sales items sell out VERY quickly... Another option for Skinz is to buy the discount gift certificates they sell every year before Christmas. You save 25%.

I remember when the shops there had thongs to sell, and with his store near Clearwater High School, we need more females wearing them. I would definetely stay at hotels near the beach.

I don't really like the feel of Skinz fabrics on my skin. I find myself wearing He Swimwear stuff nearly all the time, because I prefer their fabrics.

This is going to be my first time ordering from Skinz and want to know about sizing. In Tendenze I wear a Large and fits just fine. Muscleskins I order XL sometimes so the straps don't dig in. Joe snyder L.. might need to start getting M since they loosen up after a few washes. Koala I can fit Medium or LARGE So basically I just don't want to spend $100 on 3 thongs and have them not fit! Any comments/tips would be greatly appreciated. Oh ya, My waist is a 34. but I don't like them so tight where they cut into your sides! |

I have a 34 inch waist and I just bought a small M25 and it fits great, does not dig in the sides. I have medium M27's and no problem. My next order will be for g's and thongs size x- small, M27's size small. I have just found out through trial and error over the years. I could not be more happier with their products. It's all I will buy. I have 3 roman g's in medium and they fit great. Hope this helps.

No problem at all with the fitting of this suit on me, and certainly one of the attractions of this suit ot me, is the fact that it is seamless in the front, consequently, a patterened fabric in this style looks great because the garment has not been interupted by a seam, making the pattern much more pleasing on the eye for the onlooker, to top it all off however, the back narrows down to a Y shape, making one's butt stand out very well indeed, all in all then, a great suit !

I would order maybe one thong in a small first to see if you like the fit, I dont think you will have a problem with a small cutting in. The roman is probably my favourite suit at the moment, love the true Y string back. It gives my butt some nice shape. Not a huge fan of the pouch, it tends to bunch up a little bit underneath. Would love to get a mir2u with the Y string back.

I wear it as a modest suit when walking along the beach in the more populated areas. The Roman meets the Pinellas coverage rules and is comfortable.

My waist ranges from 29-31 inches, depending on my weight...I weight 190-220-ish (summer to winter) and there is NO WAY I'm wearing anything smaller than an XL from Skinz, even when my waist is down to 29". It is not a sloppy loose fit either. |

I always worn m-45 with pep lining in them and they fit great and very comfortable. Now they changed the m-45 and call them m-67. I bought one with the lining and it fits better, just as comfortable and looks great.

I have never felt anything so soft and silky as this fabric. The fit was perfect! No extra fabric and made to perfection. I don't know what style you are interested in, but I can highly recommend the stuffit style. I got it in the light turquois sheer fabric. After wearing thongs and g's from everyone, I can tell you that the people at Skinz know what they are doing. They absolutely do it right!

I think the sewing and stitch types by Muscleskins are superior to tthat from Skinz. Skinz has some interesting and a much wider range of fabric designs and colors. I prefer the pouch fit from Muscleskinz well over that from Skinz.

I have M1R amd M1R2 and have worn each to the beach multiple times. Both are good suits but I don't find much coverage difference, but prefer much less coverage. Most Skinz gstrings have the same coverage dimensions irregardless of the listed size-the string lengths vary. I recommend getting Small or ExS for good tight fit and holds your equipment in place firmly.

I ended up wearing it everyday, even though I had 6 new thongs for the trip to S. Florida. The fabric and construction is the best! You can see me wearing it in my profile pictures. Unless you are overly endowed, I would think that you will have no problem with the pouch size.

I prefer a looser than tight fit since I generally spend the whole day in my suit though other folk's preferences vary. The Roman is considered a thong though its easily mistaken as a g-string. I got several compliments from other thongers who said they liked my g-string. I have a pic of myself wearing it in blue at the beach posted. I'm planning on ordering a Skinz Stuffit G-string for this summer for a slightly different fit and feel :)

Often times (like with the muscleskins torpedo) i wear an "XL" because it sits better on my back. I hate low riding thongs that look like a straight line across the back. I like a little bit of a "dip" where the middle string meets the waistband

I think you will find that the most popular thongs for most of us are: Muscleskins, Dore (Beachndance) which is the same source, Joe Snyder, and Skinz. I know others will have their favorites too.
