	Date Posted：07/29/2024 06:55:59Copy HTML Hi! Last year, in august 2023, me and my wife went to Benidorm. It lies on the east coast of Spain, about 40km north of Alicante. Here are my views of the beaches in Benidorm, and how thong friendly it is. Benidorm consists basically of two major beaches, to the west is "Poniente" and to the east "Llevant". Right in the middle of these two beaches are the old town of Benidorm. The "Poniente" beach is about 3km long and the more quiet of these two beaches. The "Llevant" is about 2km long and more busy, since it lies closer to the main city of Benidorm. We stayed at a hotel slightly to the east of the middle of "Poniente" beach. The walk to the center of the old town took about 20 minutes, and was around 1,5km What I liked about the "Poniente" beach, where we stayed - It is very easy to access both beaches, anywhere from the beach promenade that follows the entire bay of Benidorm - The beachwalk is broad and situated about 10m over the beach, which gives you a fantastic view - The beach is very clean - The sand is fine and the water is clear - Beach beds and umbrellas are available on most part of the beach - Since the beach are very long and broad, it´s easy to find spots of more privacy if you like - Wooden planks are placed on the beach from the promenade for easy access to the water What I did not liked about the "Poniente" beach - Renting a sun bed or umbrella is 6 Euros each, more then twice the price in most of Greece. If you stay for a longer time, this gets actually expensive! I don´t think this is related to Benidorm only, but in most of Spain - Very little facilities on the beach. There are no toilets near the beach, just a few low hanging foot showers. There are no kiosks on the beach selling drinks or snacks. For this, you will have to leave the beach, and cross the street from the promenad, very strange considering the size of the beach. What we could se, the "Llevant" beach was not better in this regard. - Both beaches are not good for snorkeling, the bottom consists only of fine sand, so not much to see . . . What did people wear on the beach? Most woman in 20-40 years old wore cheeky bikinis and quite many thongs, a few one piece but I did not see any g-strings. Most men in the same age wore dork shorts (duh!), but I saw a few square cuts and Speedos. I tanned mostly in my Beachkini (boy-stings) g-string. When in the water I wore a more conservative black Olaf Benz swim thong and a black Muscleskins 1cm poser thong. My wife wore a black WW triangle-back thong. I was the only guy in a thong, at least I did not see any other. Most people did not seem to care about my thong. A couple of younger girls that setup near us gave me some long looks in my g-string, and a few other double takes. There was a group of young Spanish girls and guys in the water (many Spanish tourists visited) that giggled when they saw me, but nothing that felt uncomfortable. All in all, I would say that there was absolutely no problems thonging here! Would I recommend visiting Benidorm? Absolutely! The city and old town are very nice, and have lots of restaurants and things to do and see. The beaches are good, but if you plan to stay mostly at the beach, there are better choices in terms of beach facilities. I hope this helps for you who are visiting Spain!

The village has a beach called Cala Lanuza and I will be thonging there this week. Will post again with my experience. I'll be wearing a black Olaf Benz Sun String.

Third women in full brief bikinis, third in cheeky and third in thongs. I was the only thonged man, couple of others in briefs the rest big baggy shorts. Noone seemed to care. Then again I wasn't looking for reactions. A wonderful few hours. Now back to our villa pool for more swimming and sunbathing.

As it's Sunday and the locals are off work, this small beach was absolutely packed with families on holiday and those who live in the area. Surprisingly few thongs seen. Mostly full brief bikinis on women, a few cheeky and a few thongs. One man in a brief the rest long shorts. And then there was me in my black conservative thong from Shien (for those who want to look it up, it has the word 'code' written on it and fits like a desmit thong). Again no one seemed to care. A few surprised looks perhaps when first seen but after that didn't feel like anyone could care less. Again I wasn't looking for reactions, just focusing on having a nice morning with my family and keeping the kids safe. Off to a zoo tomorrow with a splash pool so considering the clientele will opt for my black 3/4 back rio brief from Kiniki.
