Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:12/28/2020 04:34:38Copy HTML To think I was proud of myself for going SUP in a basic Speedo brief suit. It was on a busy “lazy River” so plenty of people around, however not one negative comment was heard. Hopefully in 2021 I can give SUP thonging a try. I like your suits JM, living were you do I would wear them all the time too. You’re a great ambassador and advocate for thong attire, thank you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:01/02/2021 06:35:49Copy HTML On Friday my friend brought her dog along for a little paddle board adventure. First time on a paddle board for the dog. I was wearing a thong made of bight red fabric, with a reasonably conservatives front, triangle rear, and edged all round rather wide 1" black and shiny gold elastic. The same black and gold elastic is used for the 1" wide waist band. The black is printed with gold chevrons that sparkle. My neighbor said it it looked Christmassy. Later I was a bemused when when looking at her pictures. The black and gold that is bright and distinctive in real life, but in the pictures blends into the skin tone. When viewed from the rear, in some pictures taken from a distance, it makes me look almost nude. That was not the intention when I selected the thong with very vibrant colors. Maybe it is an artifact of the way the camera sees color. I added a few of the pictures my paddle boarding folder linked above, along with one from last summer taken by a stranger as we paddle boarded down the New River. Next day Saturday: Went out again, but this time in a fire engine red thong with wider front, sides and rear. I hopped that would look less nude. The canals and rivers were full of boats out enjoying he good weather. Lots of good complements and cheers. Both from men and women. Over on the sand bar a partying boat gave me a drink, and I talked to a couple of charming thronged young ladies about swimsuit brands and makers. I did a long loop going South with the outgoing tide, then as it got closer to low tide decided to work my way back up the New River against the last of the ebb tide, all the way to downtown. Even in the last hour the tide in the river still flows reasonably fast, so one gets a good workout, even when working up the eddies. Lots of boat traffic in the New River, and a lot of wakes, resulted in me falling off twice. I was on the tippy board because i perceive that gives me more of a workout. Water was cold but the day was warm. 82 in the shade, and better in the sun. Most of the good will and cheering came from the private boats (mostly locals but some rental pontoon boats). The tourists on the water taxies and double story Jungle Queen type sight seeing boats are more sedate. While going up the New River I was followed for a long wile by a floating tiki hut bar. They were in no hurry, having a good time drinking, puttering along as slow as me. Once I got to down town I turned and raced back down river with the remainder of the falling tide and then turned off to find my way home by the canals. Long afternoon. Tired now. Looks like good weather tomorrow, so will probably be out on the water again. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:01/09/2021 04:25:52Copy HTML The weekend after Christmas I got a friend to come out paddle boarding. We were wearing matching elf thongs with jingle-bells and matching elf hats. Someone shot a video from the top roof of their condo was we passed. I remember them, they shouted good tidings. They later posted it to Facebook saying we looked good. This is from Hendrix Isle, heavily built up condo and rental with boats out back. https://vimeo.com/498685878 In reply someone else also posted a rather grainy zoomed in cell phone video of me paddle boarding down the river in the center of town. https://vimeo.com/498685363 Goes to show what I normally say, they don't manage to get their camera out until you are past and going away, and even then the zoomed in shots are so grainy that nobody will recognize your backside. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:01/11/2021 11:49:05Copy HTML I think that is because it is so zoomed in there is not enough resolution to show the waist band, or for that matter much other detail.
Not sure what thong I had on, or which day that was, but I think it had a bright silver 5/8" wide waist band, so at that low resolution it may have just blend a bit with skin tone. After seeing the video the next time I was out I wore a slightly more conventional thong, lower cut but wider sides in bright red, just so it was more visible. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:01/16/2021 10:06:36Copy HTML Good afternoon paddle boarding. It was cool, a little over 70 but one felt warmer in the sun and when working at paddling. Did a big figure of 8 loop with two passes through the raft of boats partying on the sandbar.
Was a good day to try a thong I altered a few days ago.
I did not like the side straps so on the fire engine red thong I had purchased some time ago. So one evening last week I replaced them with two yellow embroidered key chain fobs with bright red "Remove Before Flight" stitched on them. The alteration worked out well, so today I wore that thong out for the first time. Lots and lots of cheers and friendly waves. A good afternoon on the water. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:02/05/2021 04:31:54Copy HTML Yep, that was me on the paddle board. That is a remarkable find. Well done. My 3 seconds of fame in a reality TV show.
The comment "That's a big one" was about an Iguana, not me. They were in a motor boat, I was on a paddle board, so overtaking must have taken some time. It would be interesting to know what was edited out, in the obvious gap, during the time I slowly overtook them. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:03/28/2021 01:15:33Copy HTML Left around 3pm, back around 7pm. Unlike Thursday when I did 10 miles all the way the river through downtown and South Fork all the way to Marina Mile, today was less distance.
Started with a mile loop around my island. Got lots of waves and friendly comments from neighbors. There was a backyard party at one house. I am guessing by the blue confetti in the canal it was a gender reveal party. A lot of hoots and encouraging hollers from them.
Paddled East to Intracoastal Waterway, then South under Las Olas Bridge and past Bahia Mar marina where they park the super yachts. Lots of friendly waves and cheers from passing boats, water taxi and passengers on the Jungle Queen.
Headed over to the main sandbar and paddled round the boats. Again lots of positive feedback. Went south to the yacht club sandbar. Three pontoon party boats with all women guests. I guess it is bridesmaid party season.
Paddled back to main sandbar. Lots of good responses. Several boats again offered me drinks. My limit is two because I have to paddle board home. So after that I switched to water. Helped out some people, had fun. Talked with lots of folks. Hung out for a couple of hours just paddling around, rescuing a rather drunk young lady called Rachel, talked and chlled with a number of people from diffrent boats before paddleing home to beat the dark.
Today there were a very high number of younger model looking women in thong swimsuits on expensive boats. Some boats had half a dozen, others a dozen or more, dancing around, wiggleing their thong bums at me, waving and having a good time. I guess it is spring break. The one thing I have seen a LOT of over the last few months, but none today, boats flying trump flags. There were a few boats of all men, and all women, but the one boat flying a GLBT flag was a pontoon barge with a large mixed group.

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:04/24/2021 10:19:21Copy HTML Thong paddle boarded for a few hours this afternoon. Lots of smiles, cheers and friendly waves of booty shakes from the women.
Tomorrow, Sunday, is Boca Bash in the Boca inlet. Annual boat party. Lots of young people and many women in thongs.
Low tide at around 3pm. Perfect. I am going to see if I can find free parking not to far away, and flow down with the outgoing tide to the party in the large lake by the inlet. Then later flow home on the incoming tide. Will probably wear the sparkle thong.
Considering how many people take pictures or videos I am amazed that board users are not finding them and sending them to me. Just shows how pictures don't get much further than a few of your direct friends social media friends before they drown in the digital deluge. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:04/28/2021 02:29:35Copy HTML Spent all afternoon paddle boarding round the huge annual boat party known as Boca Bash. I have never seen that many women in thongs, quite literally thousands. A half dozen topless women and a couple of dozen with just stick on nipple covers.
I wore a sparkly black thong and got a LOT of positive feedback from both women and men. Lots of complementary beers and jello shots. Knowing I had to paddle back to my launch point I had to turn down most of them. I had more cheers and wild friendly waves than ever before, along with many thong clad bums shaken in my direction. If you want a good reaction to your thong just paddle board around any South Florida sandbar party, but for an exceptional reaction go to Boca Bash in the spring or Columbus Day Regatta in the fall. Let me know if any of you find a picture or video of me, in a thong on a paddle board, in any of the Boca Bash pictures or videos posted to the web. Thanks |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:05/14/2021 02:09:44Copy HTML Anyone out there up for some stand-up paddle boarding in the Miami area. I’m currently spending a week in Miami Beach. This is my first vacation since the pandemic! I would love to spend some time stand-up paddle boarding going around the Miami or Fort Lauderdale canals. I don’t quite have the guts to thong it on my own, but would love the company of others. I’m flexible with time as I’ll be here for a week. It’s always more comfortable pushing the envelope in numbers. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:05/14/2021 04:47:45Copy HTML Have the courage. Just go for it. You will quickly find that when out on a paddle board you are in a protective bubble of your own space. Other than where you launch you are probably 50 to 200 feet away from people, even passing boats.
You will probably discover a South Florida phenomenon: Boats cost bucks. Men who own boats generally invite a boat load of women along for a day partying and drinking on the water. Women like rich men with boats who are going to provide the gas, alcohol and sunshine for a boat party. When paddle boarding in the waterways many of the boats that pass will have a gaggle of women out for a good time and the sunshine. Not only are they more likely to be wearing thongs themselves, they are very likely to show you their approval of men in thongs.
Remember the general boating etiquette of acknowledging passing boats. This can be just a simple simile, wave or nod of the head, and return the same. This says "I have seen you and where you are headed" AND you have seen me. Generally the driver of the boat will give a simple raised hand to acknowledge you, and you should return the same or at least nod your head.
When paddle boarding both hands are full, so a nod of the head will suffice. However if you stop paddling for a moment to briefly hold up your hand, (American Indian style greeting), many of the people on the boat may wave back too.
From most passing boats you will get a wave, sometimes a whoop, or may be a thong butt shaken in your direction to say thongs are hot.
However keep an eye out for groups of women (bow candy) on the front decks of expensive boats. After the first drink and under a hot afternoon sun, the bow riding women are more likely to act like the audience at a crazy horse strip club than a tea party. "Hay Baby!" is going to be the milder cry. Your millage may vary.
Larger boats, larger cabin cruisers and rental party boats are generally driven by professional certified personnel, especially if the owner wants to drink and party with the bow candy he has attracted. Don't be too concerned about where they are going or if they will stay clear of you. These are pro drives. They will generally give you a wide birth, or at least slow well as they come past you.
It is more the smaller boats, hot rod self driven speed boats, jet-skis and other weekend yahoos who think boating is like off-road driving that are sometimes a nuance.

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:05/15/2021 12:16:42Copy HTML Time to kick it into high season for SUP!
I’ve been out 3 times so far on the lake and plan a 8 mile route for later today. Looking forward to going out on some new lakes this year. Wearing a thong on the SUP is a great day in the sun and I never get harassed by anyone. I get waves, a few hoots, and some good conversations. One one time did anyone mention my swim suit an it was a couple of girls on a jet ski that said that they really liked it and invited me to the boat dock for a drink.
I will usually get out there for a couple hours two times a week this season. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:05/16/2021 10:17:19Copy HTML Well, I accomplished my goal!! Today I went stand up paddle boarding wearing just thong. I’m not sure if I would have done it without the help and advise from JM_Runs. I launched from Ft. Lauderdale, and traveled for 4 1/2 hours along the canals. Just as JM_Runs said, it was really a lot easier than I thought. The hardest part was the launching, as my nerves were a bit jangled, but once on the canals, it was peaceful as boats stay a distance and there was a feeling of freedom and safety. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try it. No bad comments, just a few wistles and hoots, all in good nature. I did see several ladies stand-up paddle boarding in thong.
The weather was a bit cloudy, so the sun was not as harsh. I was hoping for a few party boats to pass with ladies shaking their butt at me, but I guess today was not the day for party goers.
Thank you JM _Runs for keeping my safety a priority by your words of maritime etiquette. I was not aware of the need to acknowledge the presence of other boaters with a wave of the hand. Today’s experience felt almost like graduating to another level of comfort when thonging. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:05/17/2021 11:03:58Copy HTML I mainly took the Middle River, and from there I explored the smaller ‘side branches’ that connect to the Middle River. I went as far north as to where highway 1 overpasses the river, and as far south as Las Olas Blvd. Lots of side channels. I can’t believe how fast the 4 hours went by. I don’t think I have ever paddled that long. The feeling of liberation in wearing my choice of swimwear comfortably overpowered my fatigued muscles. I wore a Skinz ‘stuffit’ , I think it’s a M77 in aqua blue.
JM_ I am hoping to make it to Miami another time when those huge gatherings on the sand bars occur. There are a few holiday weekend that it happens. I think Memorial weekend is one. Your experience that you posted this year was was very motivating for me. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:05/17/2021 02:30:27Copy HTML Sounds like you launched from Las Olas Paddle Boards or Blue Moon rentals. Middle River is nice and wide and not too busy with boats. Good choice.
I don't know if you went to Las Olas Blvd by the wide intercostal by the marina, or the side canals. Either way, going under Las Olas and about another mile you would have found a bunch of boats anchored on a sandbar.
Every weekend there are "sandbar" type gatherings up and down the intercoastal. Fort Lauderdale has a couple of so called sandbars but even at low tide they are not exposed sand, just shallow water. In Dania there is Whisky Creek. On the intercostal side of Haulover nude beach there is Haulover inlet sandbar, at least until they dredge it for beach renourishment. In Miami there are a number, including just shallow areas like the inland side of Key Biscayne. Weekdays they will get a few boats. Weekends a larger party crowed. You can even find party boats there on weekdays, but on the whole weekends are much better.
A couple of really big boat parties are Boca Bash, last Sunday in April at the Boca Raton inlet sanbar, (sorry you missed that) and then again in the fall for Columbus Day weekend. For that a lot of the boats go 20 miles south of Miami to Elliot Key for an overnight party weekend. These are massive events. But for just puttering around getting some sun on a paddle board the canals are fine and on weekends the local sandbars are fun. Just look at the wind direction and tides for the day. Around the high and low tide the flow is not much, but midway between high and low the rate of flow can be significant. SUP against both wind and tide is exhausting.
Here I will explain the nautical rule of 12ths. Obviously at full high tide and dead low water there is not a lot of change going on. But if you divide the total amount of water to flow in and out for each tide into 12 parts the amount of flow per hour is approximately 1, 2, 3, 3, 2, 1 . So in the middle two hours of a flood or ebb the tide run strongest. The rate of flow is basically the slope of a sign curve.
In Fort Lauderdale, for the New River, and probably Middle River too, the best tide chart to look at is not Las Olas or Bahia Mar, but the ones calculated at the Andrews Av Bridge on the New River, which are about 25 minutes different.
I have been ill all last week and am still coughing so would not have been good company. However, as you have discovered on your own, thong paddle boarding around here is fun and for the most part well supported by locals. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:05/27/2021 01:55:35Copy HTML Are the paddleboards only for rent in ft lauderdale or can you also rent in miami. Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:05/27/2021 12:25:30Copy HTML There are rentals all over. New ones popping up every day. Basically they divide into two types of rentals, beach concessions renting for the ocean, in front of hotels, and inland rentals renting from boat launching ramps and park concessions. Rental rates vary. I don't rent because I own. However I hear people round here talking about a two tear rental, either 4 hours or the entire day, for either $30 to $40 for four hours or $50 for the day. It seems the paperwork and prep is 80% of the effort. I don't know about Miami, and suspect that if beach launching were available it would probably be by the individual hour. I suggest you join a facebook group called "South Florida Paddlers". https://www.facebook.com/groups/650161938508372 This includes canoe, kayak and paddle boarders. While most own and are looking for new trails and launch points there is also discussion of rentals. If here for a few days, and expecting to paddle board on more than one day, you might want to consider owning an inflatable paddle board. One can order a low cost inflatable from Walmart for about $200, and sell it again when you leave for a similar amount. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:05/29/2021 02:40:45Copy HTML On Facebook we have a local group for paddlers, kayak, canoe and stand up paddle boards. Someone was asking for the closest launch sight to the sandbar. Someone else suggested a route from George English park. I suggested a slightly better route to keep them away from the New River boat traffic. Since they seemed worried about the distance I offered that they could launch at my house, a mile closer and free parking.
They too me up on the offer and invited me along. I said I have to warn you I don't wear a lot when paddle boarding. She asked if I was the guy they saw at the sanbar in a green thong a couple of weeks ago. Yep, that was me. She said, small world, you made our day that weekend.
So it looks like we have a group for paddle boarding on Sunday afternoon. |

I've always loved seeing a woman with dark hair and a red suit like the one hitchhiker sitting behind you. That color combination always catches my eye -- even if it isn't a thong or cheeky suit.
Thanks very much for posting the photos for those of us who aren't surrounded by women in thongs when at the beach. (Although, I can't complain about the number of women wearing cheeky and thong suits at the beach near Cleveland.)
Thanks also for keeping this board running!!

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:07/26/2021 01:27:06Copy HTML Ending up with July 2021. I try to hit the lake a couple times a week. I have had a few more good conversations this year over the past couple. I think last year drove some new people to try SUP to get out and something to do. This year during my 100+ miles so far I have had many great discussions with other SUP riders and people in boats as they are floating along or at the sandbar. Even paddled around a couple hours with a girl who launched out the same time as I did. I had already taken off my shorts and had a smaller coverage thong and we chatted and she asked to paddle together. We went for about 4 miles and took a few breaks to cool down in the water. That was a good time. Ran into her again another time and hung out a bit.
In all my conversations with people, not one comment or question about me wearing a thong. Well it is just another swimsuit…. I do hear a few people’s exclamations as they figured out what I was wearing. From the front it doesn’t phase anyone on the lake but if they see my backside they get surprised as they are not common even on women on the NC lakes.
I adder some new SUP pictures to my gallery. |

The women I was paddle boarding with said "You wear a thong just to get attention, you are encouraging them!"

I think she was a little jealous. She was wearing a rather wonderful strappy swimsuit herself, but did not not get the same reaction as the boat passed her. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:12/06/2021 05:04:56Copy HTML It is getting a little cooler down here in Fort Lauderdale today's high was 79. The morning was a bit cloudy but the sun was out this afternoon, as were a LOT of boats. It is now high season. Snowbird houses that were closed-up for the summer are reopened. Boats have appeared in slips that were empty during the summer months.
Thong Paddle boarding results in LOTS of waves, cheers, whoops and complements. Along with more drinks, or offers of drink, than I can handle. Sometimes I am offered food too. Last time I was out I was given two different types of chicken.
Thongs and paddle boarding that seem to be symbiotic. I get more positive reaction when out on a paddle board than almost anywhere else. Maybe it is because many of the adult guests have had a drink or two. Maybe because they are just enjoying the wind, sun and water too.
Being slower than all the other water craft they have the option of passing close or far, and the distance between the paddle board and boats means you are never really in anyone's face. So even if there are the occasional negative remark (there were none today) they are distant and by that time they are motoring away.
On a paddle board you are busy paddling and working to stay upright. We have all seen idyllic pictures of women doing handstands and yoga on paddle boards - but on a busy waterway with boats of all shapes and sizes plowing back and forth I find I spend most of my time just working to stay upright. This means I am busy DOING SOMTHING. This is a major key to being accepted. Not loitering around or acting furtive, but just getting on and DOING SOMTHING is the key to general acceptance. (Shoutout to the serious thong lap swimmers).
However I do get time to smile, wave back, and generally enjoy the day. Frequently I swing by "the sandbar" (not a sandbar) and chill for a while among the anchored boats. There are private boat parties and rental party-boats. Lots of women in thongs. Today a number of men in speedos. I got lots of cheers and complements from the women, and several offers of drinks. Not bad for an old codger like me. |

Was given drinks by several boats, two that were serving Champagne. Invited onto two of them for pictures, both were hosting bachelorette parties so were full of women. Spent some time on a floating raft with some, had a good time.
In the entire day only one negative comment from some drunk guy alternately shouting "Let's go Brandon" and "Put some cloths on!"
In contrast lots of positive comments, cheers and waves from everyone else: Men, women and boats full of partyers or tourists. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:03/02/2022 04:20:43Copy HTML Hurt my ankle a month ago. Swelled up like a balloon. When it did not get better a week later did the round with doctors, x-rays etc.
Was feeling better so went paddle boarding Sunday for the first time in a long time. Heard one of the people doing the commentary on a tripper boat saying "He is out here every day" to the tourists on the boat. Maybe a couple of times a week if the weather is good, but not every day and probably only three times since Christmas last year! It was a fab day on the water, but the good weekend weather brought out a LOT of boats. Lots of boat traffic. Lots of boats and a few otherkayaks and paddle boards at the sandbars. Had fun, got lots of cheers and complements from the women. I was given a drink by one boat, beer at another and then grilled steak and potato salad at another. Saw one boat where all the guys were all wearing thongs or speedos, that was unusual. I wore an older cut of the Skinzwear M14 banded waist thong. https://skinzwear.com/product_search.php?indexcat=100249&indexname=Mens-Banded-Waist-Thong |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:04/11/2022 04:57:37Copy HTML Had a fun Sunday thong paddle boarding on the waterways. Went the long way round to the main and then secondary Sanbars. Both were packed with partying boats. Lots of waves, cheers, hoots and some bottom shaking by the women on various boats.
Then trip up driver with the rising tide to visit friends who live on a cat on the North Fork. Had some beer and good catchup conversation. Then on again up the river to the apartment of old friends. Spent some time visiting and catching up on stories with them and their daughter.
I had stayed later than planned. Hhe said you better leave before it gets totally dark. Went outside to find sun almost set. So set of quickly and paddled like fury to get back all the way down the North Fork and through the busy downtown section of the New River before the light faded.
It helped that the tide was now flowing out with speed.
Down here in the tropics it gets dark very soon after sunset so I was pleased to get back down the busy river and into the side cannels that lead to my home before the last of the light died. Maybe I should pack a light in my drybag for daytime adventures, not just when we go nighttime paddle boarding.
All in all a perfect day on the water. You'll have no idea how much support, cheers, and general application I get from boaters, riverside walkers, or waterfront restaurant patrons. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:04/22/2022 11:05:44Copy HTML I was finally able to get out at the lake for a couple hours last Friday. The weather has been decent this spring but the winds higher than in the spring than in the past. Therefore I’ve been on the back deck getting sun instead of on the lake. I did about 5 miles in one of my colorful suit from Tropical Thongs.
Great to get a workout and sun on the buzz at the same time. Looking forward to a long SUP season. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:06/29/2022 04:14:55Copy HTML Closing out the first half of the year with only 12 outings. Earlier in the year weather patterns didn’t help. My job will be changing soon an that should work in my favor for getting out more often. I have 59 miles and 22 hours of thong time on the SUP. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:08/15/2022 01:23:39Copy HTML Came down with Covid the week after Sunsplash. Probably from girlfriend who previously had covid and who I was helping pack, clean and evacuate her apartment. She lost a cat and I later found the cat, but this resulted in her staying over my house Sunday night and not leaving town till the following Monday.
First week of Covid was not at all fun. Spent most of the week in bed holding my head. Second week I have been feeling better - up and about but still coughing and fatigued. Since I am still positive I canceled the friends group paddle board event previously planned for this weekend.
Today I took myself out for a couple of hours of paddling. Was good to be back on the water. Friendly waves from passing boats and friendly toots from the Jungle- Queen and Carrie-B. People pay $30 for an hour and a half sightseeing boat tour and I guess I am one of the local sights. Came home before afternoon rain, took a hot shower and went back to bed for an afternoon nap. No hanging out with bachelorette crews until I am fully recovered. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:08/29/2022 03:22:38Copy HTML I did one of my group paddle board events Saturday. If the tide is right we go down to the Sandbars, hang out having a few drinks and paddle home. Some launch from my house and others launch at Vic Park or up the river and meet us at the sandbar. Sometimes we have a dozen or more launching from my house, sometimes very few. On Saturday I told friends who wanted to launch from my house and use my paddle boards to arrive at my house by 2:45. None of the regulars turned up by 3:15. Most were out of town and had already messaged me let me know they were not coming. A couple told me they were running late and to leave them equipment ready and they would catch up. So by 3:15 it was just Leo and I. First time public thonging for Leo. We got to the sandbar but he was a little worn out and wanted to return early for another appointment. I paddled back with him. Coming the other way were late comers from my house, friend M and my neighbor. Later at the sandbar we met up with some other paddle boarders who had launched from other locations. We did not make it back until the sun was setting. Good day paddling. Some cheers for thongers, got flashed by one enthusiastic women and saw a turtle. (There are turtles, manatee and fish - but the tannin that washes out of the everglades makes the river rather murky, so seeing manatees and turtles is not as common as it would be if the water were clear.) On Sunday I went out again, this time in an unusual thong. The women from one of the pontoon party boats waded over to say hello. We went back to their boat. I accepted some proffered drinks. After a few group photos they took my digits and later sent me a short video. https://vimeo.com/744231860 I posted the short video to Facebook. A friend commented "What's up with the straps? I think you look much better with your regular thongs ,regular thongs look a lot more like a "swimsuit" and the straps' tan lines?" I replied "I like to see some of the more unusual bikinis on women, so in exchange I like to switch it up now and again. The women are appreciative, that is what matters." What do the rest of you think? |

Kinda of sad to see the guy that runs this board, under the guise of normalizing thong wearing, parading around in fetish wear. :( |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:09/03/2022 11:16:54Copy HTML JM lives within a few miles of an enormous nude beach. And the surrounding is fairly accepting of minimal beachwear. In addition, a string-back one-piece suit would not be much of a problem for women in the Miami area. JM’s suit isn’t mainstream or even common but in the context of that area, think of it as “not nude”.
I’ve seen more off-beat things at Riis beach (NYC), including a suit like this, baggies, flamingo tutus…
About JM, he’s in great shape and obviously is outgoing and friendly. |

Re:Stand-Up Paddle boarding in a Thong - SUP (Paddleboarding) Date Posted:09/04/2022 02:36:22Copy HTML I SUP every week and wear smaller thongs and Gs for 5-7 miles at a time. Many other SUP and kayakers and boats out there. This is NC lakes. Always good to be out there. I have only seen one girl in a white thong this year so it’s not common here.
I wouldn’t do a mankini but the style that JM had is up my alley and I would try it out at the lake. JM do you have a link for that one? |
