Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:03/29/2012 02:40:46Copy HTML I used imageshack.com as my original link to my last post of the underwear i like and it got censored. Not the first time they did this... but this is a picture of a mannequin with underwear on....nothing dirty... That is censored? Yes! Good grief. I won't be using that website anymore.
I did a quick search and found an image hosting site that doesn't censor pictures, so these pics should stay posted (they are the same picture): http://image.bayimg.com/kangpaadk.jpg http://bayimg.com/kanGpaaDK My question still is does anyone have a direct link to the underwear posted above from the TXM website? I love the cut of them!!! I thought i found the direct link to them but no, the pouch in the front seems to be the wrong size (?).... It's not a new picture - i hope they are not discontinued, but i've been looking to buy them for a long time. Hopefully they are not a thong-cut in the back. I'm looking for underwear, not a bathing suit that looks like this. I guess it doesn't have to be from this company but this is the cut that i am looking for. If anyone can find a direct link on the TXM website to these undies or even a different company with a similar (non-thong) cut, i thank you in advance. |

Has anyone writtent to the company and gotten a response? I've written three times, but never heard anything from them.
There used to be a store in Taipei (yes, I live in Taiwan) which sold the TXM underwear. (It's also labelled as TM underwear.) Unfortunately, the store went out of business and no other store carries the brand. |

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:07/21/2013 01:22:00Copy HTML I orders some TM or TxM wet look, half back, 1/4" side strap bikinis for wearing on public beaches. Size M is the only size offered in the style I wanted. They arrived in clear plastic boxes the size of a pack of cigarettes. I thought they wouldn't fit, but they really stretch out a lot, especially the little side bands. They are barely legal in the front (as long as I don't spread my legs) which is perfect as far as I am concerned. All the hair had to go. The seats have ample coverage for any beach. I just wish there was a tie side version. Here is the link for the suits I have:http://global.rakuten.com/en/store/asian-fashion/item/tm-557180/?s-id=borderless_browsehist_en

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:07/21/2013 01:58:37Copy HTML TXM and their related brand (i think) Topmodejapan, do some awesome suits. Once i three suits from another Rakuten site, and when they arrived I opened the mail package and saw only two; I then realized that the third was actually in there, it was just so small it was concealed between two rio-like suits! When I say small I am not exaggerating - it was literally the size of a six-year-old's knickers. But the material does stretch and the end result is a suit that kinda resembles a typical japanese speedo - a full back not quite covering the top of the bum, though in this case, barely half, and a front that while barely enough to go over the root of the shaft, cups the balls sufficiently to be decent. The other two suits from topmodejapan are some of my favourites, worth looking out for, though I think TXM do a very similar fit. Be wary if you're not asian though, I'm 5'3" with a 30' waist and a decent-sized penis, and a medium is already pushing it pouch-wise. :-)

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:08/07/2013 01:35:38Copy HTML I ordered seven suits from aliexpress.com on 7/17, was advised that they shipped on 7/25, and received them 8/5, all well within the promised delivery time. The XL size that I ordered (I typically order M or L depending on the manufacturer) is perfect! The L suits that I ordered earlier are wearable but a bit tight and the M suits are, like teddybearboy says, very small. They are obviously actually made by TM and are fantastic! The price (under $10 each) and no shipping charges makes the wait worthwhile. I will be posting some pictures of them on my Flickr site soon.

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:08/28/2013 02:01:05Copy HTML A month and a half after ordering from aliexpress, I have not found any fraudulent items on my credit card. I suspect that things got straightened after Yahoo acquired a large stake in them. I have over a dozen suits from the txm.co.jp site and ordered seven from the aliexpress site. There is the same range of fabrics in both groups (some are very thin and stretchy, some are somewhat heavier). Some of my suits from the txm site have to stretch tremendously to even try to fit, the XL from aliexpress fits great! Both sites offer back styles ranging from full back, half back and thong or G-string. They fit very low in general, and some show a good bit of butt crack. Both come with identical TM labels.

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:01/10/2014 11:34:42Copy HTML I am a huge fan of TXM thongs. I wear them quite often as they are super comfortable. I always choose by fabric - always choose the ones that stretch the most and I always go for the sheer fabrics. Mostly order black only as that is what I wear daily. Cannot go wrong when they have the sales - and shipping is very, very fast - less than one week from Japan to Boston.

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:01/21/2014 04:55:32Copy HTML Some people here are ordering TXM/TM items from aliexpress.com (NOT directly from TXM/TM), as they have some TXM/TM underwear. So did I. (I also posted this post under aliexpress post.) I received my order today from them. Wrong style thong. I think they sent me a woman's thong, as there is no pouch section for your you-know-what area, and the picture they provided on their website is a different thong then the one they sent.I will have to agree with the above poster(s) who say they have been ripped off by them. I'm certainly not going to try to get them to send the correct order, as I've read the reviews posted on the Internet (just google 'AliExpress reviews'), and they all say the same thing when they've gotten the wrong item: They won't resend the correct item. They also get REALLY low reviews overall. NOW I SEE WHY.As long as the don't put fraudulent charges on my credit card, I only lost 5 or 6 bucks.

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:01/21/2014 05:43:30Copy HTML flossy666 - It may not have been a mistake and received what you ordered but not what you expected. There used to be (but not anymore) a lingerie shop in Taipei that sold TM stuff and I shopped there in person. I thought it was the same problem, but the staff said some with tiny fronts *were* men's, not women's in the wrong place.
. Another problem with TM stuff is inconsistent sizing. Most are sized properly, but I've bought a couple marked "large" that were "medium". Also the stretch on some isn't as much as others and they don't fit as well as others. . I would prefer to buy more of TM stuff, but no one in Taipei seems to carry them any more, not the lingerie shops nor the shops catering to gay men. Most of what they sell are briefs and boxer briefs, few thongs. Booooooring. |

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:01/21/2014 08:57:28Copy HTML Flossy666 , (I also posted this under the aliexpress post) I am sorry that you had some sizing issues. This is, however, par for the course when ordering online. At least you lost less than I did when Muscleskins changed their sizing. Aliexpress must be having some difficulty in assuring the quality control across all of their sellers. Every time I look up TM a large number of sellers pops up. The actual TXM site does have a great return policy, but they are more expensive and their shipping costs are prohibitive unless you are ordering many suits.

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:01/22/2014 01:12:10Copy HTML I think aliexpress.com are just getting rid of what they have and don't give a hoot what they send you. And with all the complaints online about them, this is pretty much exactly what they are doing. It is not hard to get an order for a product and send the correct item to the customer. I am one of those people they basically 'just sent anything to.' They know they are far enough away that they don't have to actually refund anyone for anything, and so they don't. What are you going to do, fly to China for 5, 10, 15 or a 20 dollar order? lol.
Hot damn because I wanted this cut (see link) http://i1295.photobucket.com/albums/b621/flossy666/TXM_zps6ea1812d.jpg of underwear for a long, long time. Oh well (sighs). P.S. I'll post this under the other thread also that deals with TXM/TM thongs. |

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:01/24/2014 01:17:47Copy HTML I went on their website today and posted this under the other thread that deals with this. Now I think there is definitely a chance the thong I received is the thong in the picture, but i cannot imagine how a guy could fit into it, even if he was REALLY small down there. It's gotta be made for a woman, I think... Plus I ordered an XL and it really didn't fit me well, it was too small, and I'm pretty skinny at the waist. There is no scoop for the genital area, but the manikin they use does have a slight bulge, so that's why I'm thinking it might be the same thong? I don't know anymore. You can fill out something to dispute your purchase and try to get your money back from them, but I think it's best if they don't try to access my credit card again. You know? It's only a few bucks. Cheers, everyone!

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:01/24/2014 04:47:32Copy HTML Yeah. I purchased a few pairs from TXM a few years ago. Not impressed. The bulge was way too tight and the way it was cut, it just forced my @@@@@@ to shoot down. Was really uncomfortable. They're still in my drawer. Can't bring myself to throw them out because I'll just think about the money I wasted!

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:01/24/2014 05:27:06Copy HTML It's too bad, as they have a few really cool styles of thongs and undies, but it seems like for guys they are just for around 26 inch waists and under? Maybe one day they'll get it together. Right now, me thinks not.

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:01/24/2014 10:14:09Copy HTML I disagree. I own loads of TM suits, wear them as underwear and swimwear. I have never had an issue with sizing although you do need to be aware of the type you are ordering. On the txm.co.jp website, it has an indication of the 'stretch' of the fabric next to each suit. If you get one with little to no stretch, you'll find it hard to pack your boys in. Go for the stretchier fabrics and, while still tight and form fitting, you'll have more room up front.
In the description, while written in Japanese, keep an eye out for the English word Unisex. They like to randomly mix these in with other styles. If you order a unisex one, you'll get no pouch and you'll rely only on the stretch of the fabric to cover you - going back to my flickr photo's, this is me in a unisex thong: http://www.flickr.com/photos/114665133@N05/11995732435/ ... and this is me in one with good stretch but also is a men's only one with a pouch: http://www.flickr.com/photos/114665133@N05/11996083194/ |

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:03/13/2015 04:00:31Copy HTML I was curious about this brand and found nothing online except here to get any kind of reviews or descriptions.
I tried the Chinese Ali Express route first.... the descriptions and details leave a lot to be desired. I did order from them and tried a few different ones. Different merchants .... some good and some bad on delivery. These Chinese ones are not the same as the Japanese. I think they are bad copies trading on the TM label. Rip off. I then ordered the real thing from Japan. Fast excellent delivery. Read this string or posts before about sizing and fabric. Basically order up size if you are borderline. I am a medium always and the mediums fit but are very snug. I probable could have gone to Large and been fine. Get the ones that stretch the most - they have a fabric chart with each one. These thongs are smaller and squeeze you down and are somewhat lower in the back. I love them... I won't wear them everyday but they are different... somewhat feminine. Very thin and minimal... a light and feathery feel but snug. Try them but experiment.. .I tried 7 styles all in Medium. Some are re orders and some not. Right now March 2015 I think the dollar is strong to the yen so they won't break the bank. There is more choice in Medium than Large. If you have a large package you may not like them. I am average to slightly larger than average. Some styles I barely fit into and some are very snug but I fit and the feel is much more comfortable than it looks in the mirror. I wore one all day under clothes that I had to squeeze into and it was actually quite light and comfortable all day. Got these from Japan and don't bother with the Chinese knock offs if you value quality and an honest description. |

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:03/18/2015 03:24:07Copy HTML I'm going to have to order some of these. I noticed that I got switched to the English version of their site automatically, but the descriptions are still in Japanese. When I viewed the site in Google Translate, I saw there was stuff on the Japanese version that doesn't show on the English one, particularly pictures of fabric swatches (against a tag, so you can see how sheer).
Some of the Google translations are . . . intriguing. The description of "Enamel" (looks to be stretch vinyl) is rendered as "Militant enamel without love. Fabric of professional growl." The description of the "Skinhunter Minimum G-string" gets translated as "This is the G string of tiny type using the popular skin Hunter. You have to finish the sexy image totally delicate in side string! I am directing the @@@@@@ in front cup. Front full seam". Not entirely sure what that means exactly, but I want one. The Dollar/Yen rate is favorable these days, too. |

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:04/30/2015 09:14:45Copy HTML Try the global rakuten webpage at http://global.rakuten.com to find more similar stuff on there, just search for the search term "t-back" or something similar maybe even use a translate tool to translate the saying "mens thong" and search.
You can find loads of different and unique ones on there including TM branded and more! I even have some made by B.V.D. and Bikiner in Japan which are pretty good! Can be a bit pricy but its worth it and shipping goes via 3rd Party either Buyee.com or one i have used Tenso.com, just register on their site, they will give you some contact details for japan and a japanese address and hey presto you can even buy from other japanese retailers too and have them shipped to Tenso and consolodated to one package and shipped. |

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:11/27/2015 01:42:15Copy HTML I recently received my first order. Delighted with the quality. I'm a 34 waist so ordered large for items where there were only 3 stars for stretch and medium for the 4/5 star stretch - these were T's and G's and were fine but I think I would struggle to get into a full back medium! I got a 036066 and 036071 for the beach - they keep everything in for me but the pouches seem smaller than the picture and are even smaller than some of my Jovanas. The 115178 is super sexy, I bought some cotton T's for everyday. Also I received a 40th Anniversary freebie - a bamboo T. Nice fabric and great for everyday.

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:07/26/2016 05:48:28Copy HTML Regarding the concerns about TM Collection sizing: Most of their products that I like come in size M only. The suits stretch to fit me just fine and I am not a small person. When you open the package and see them you will think there's no way I can fit in that, but you will be surprised. They really stretch, at least all the ones I have ever bought have. For the totally public beaches I usually frequent, I wear the really tiny half (or less) back bikinis with 1/4'" sides. (All the hair has to go. The front is cut down to the legal limit.) Also, much of the TM so-called underwear is made of swimsuit material and can be worn as swimwear such as their tie-side bikinis. In my photos, the material I am wearing (or not wearing!?) is "shiny wet look swimsuit material" in florescent yellow. I have the same bikini in orange, blue, black, and white. This is my currently my favorite beachwear. I also have some of their tie-side, wet look, half back bikinis. I have every color except pink. I like the florescent white, yellow, and orange best. I like the fit of the size M's and wouldn't order a large even when/if they are available. Furthermore, I find the quality to always be impeccable. The the shipping is fast too. Takes a week or less to get an order, every time.

Re:TXM, New japanese company Date Posted:07/26/2016 07:51:22Copy HTML I'd have to disagree, but I think I've only bought one or two of their suits? But they were so small it was if they were made for young boys, like around age 5 or 6.
Medium = extra small, me thinks. |
