I am usually truthful but there have been a few times I said I couldn’t see it and there was clearly a VPL or VTL. Only once have I let her go out when you could see the panties underneath bc the dress was too sheer. Her BF (wife in the other couple we went with) just looked at me as my wife walked up the stairs in front of her and smiled and shook her head. The husband said, “I’ve done the same thing!” Lol
When she asks me if I can tell, occasionally I’ll ask her the same thing- “can you see my thong/bikini/briefs through my pants?” Ive often wondered if she has let me go out like I have her. Secretly, I HOPE SO! :) |

I also have a white transparent pair of shorts that I use at times as well. They are a couple inches longer, but you can definitely see colorful thongs underneath if your shirt is on the shorter side. I wear them to the beach or to the lake to go paddle boarding. If I have a short errand to run prior or after I’ve done that a few times as well. I don’t go out of my way to show it off, just going about my normal business. Got them from AliExpress. |

We all know a women's sex organs are inside, where as a mens are on the outside. So just because a women wears a transparent dress or coverup over her thong - that is not grounds for men to be sexual exhibitionists in transparent thongs. Please use discresion when out in public. However, similar to the women wearing transparent or translucent cloths over thongs, men can expand the public wearing of thongs by wearing them under translucent shorts. I sometimes wear mesh or translucent shorts when out walking in my city. I might be walking my neibours dog for a mile or two or walking round to a friends house. It is one way of expanding public thonging when wearing only a thong would be a bit much. |

If it's a family event / bbq etc with lots of kids around, I'll dress in a non-provocative, conservative way, but if it's clubbing, well you know, if you've got it.. lol When I want it to show, I make the effort to make it show, by wearing a bright one, or a colour that will show through the transparent clothing well. But at the same time, I don't want it to be really really obvious and in people's faces, I want them to put in some visual effort to see it lol. There's being in a general public setting, and being in a strip club (I have zero issue with this btw, but strip club attire has a purpose, and it's not day to day out and about).
I feel thongs are so mainstream now for women, especially thanks to social media, it's a lot weirder to wear full back panties and have them show through transparent clothing, or the VPLs show. Each to their own, but I feel the 'norm' has shifted significantly.

Alongside the marina at Puerto Portals is a double row of high end retail, restaurants and yacht brokers. (Google Puerto Portals)
Unless you are very well off you would not want to buy anything from the exclusive clothing or diamond stores.
During the season the many restaurants are packed, both days and evenings. Even though the prices are quite high, at least by local standards.
Not just the tourists staying on land, but the rich from the expensive yachts in the marina, and the super rich from the mega-yachts that anchor outside.
(You know you are too rich when your yacht is just way too large to get in the marina.)
On and around the beach see-though coverups for beach bikinis is normal.
This extends to the evening too, although there is a shower and change between the beach and the evening promenade.
Partly transparent or totally see-through dresses are the current fashion and quite normal for evening wear for dinner out, and maybe dancing at the second floor after hours nightclubs. See through dresses for the gold-diggers and rich mans arm-candy appears to be de rigueur.
If you like people watching, grab an outdoor table, get a cerveza and nachos, and take in the parade of evening strollers as they do the evening promenade. |

Interesting issue--- your clothing makes you look like your exposing but you're not and you're causing this illusion on purpose!! Sort of like a guy having a flesh colored pouch with printed image or lines making it look like his cock and balls. I have seen some women's T shirts with printed nipples and areolas on them- more obviously she's not really exposing herself- haven't seen those on the street yet. Don't know what to call that ??"simulated explicit exposure" wouldn't be illegal!

Still living, as we all are, under the societal pressures and stereotypes--subtle and not so subtle--that men shouldn't enjoy or express their sensual side which includes style of dress. I really feel sorry for young men--in their teens and 20s--trying to find their way in today's society. Anything outside of a narrow path and you're pigeonholed as a perv or weird. And it's especially impactful when women think or say that. It's reflected of what's on the store shelves too. Look at the underwear and 95% or greater are boxer style. And forget about a bikini bathing suit, unless you go to a sporting goods store, and even then they may not carry male bikinis (aka Speedos).
JM_Runs you're fortunate to live in an area that is much more accepting than the average area in the U.S. (and even parts of Europe) of men wearing skimpy swimwear. |

When I was coming up, the guys almost all wore short cut offs or short boxers to briefs. I wore thru my younger days and still but I now where thongs and very cheeky now. At the gym I never see young guys wearing anything short. The main point here is that they have no self confidence in their body. Half of them will not change in locker room but bring their entire bag to the shower and change in the shower. If they wear tights or bike shorts, they have shorts on top. They don’t wear tank tops or muscle shirts. Most are either fat or skinny. If you do see one in tight work out cloths, they tend to be fit. No confidence in body image. |

There's a growing minority that are willing and eager to challenge gender norms around gendered self expression. Then of course, there is the hyper masculine pushback coming from the redpill or manosphere world that used to be obsessed with categorizing everybody as alpha, beta, or sigma. Unfortunately, young men who've bought into that crap aren't likely to experiment with fashion much. Then, for the silent majority, the pervasive presence of smart phone cameras everywhere has had a cooling effect on people's behavior in public. It's hard to say how it'll all shake out. |

I was in Europe last year, and now I’m in Korea, and I’ve noticed that white cotton pants are making a comeback. The thing with white pants is that underwear often shows through the fabric, but it doesn’t seem like many women are too concerned about that anymore. I saw plenty of visible panty lines in both Europe and Korea, and some women were even wearing colored underwear beneath white pants.
There was a time when thongs were worn specifically to avoid panty lines, but now it seems like people aren’t too fazed by it. Has the mindset changed? Are comfort and confidence taking priority over hiding every detail?
What are your thoughts? |

An upscale marina with very fancy shops and restaurants. Think a combination of Rodeo Drive and Las Olas Blvd but with boat, marina and sunset views.
You can buy a multi million dollar yacht or fine dining. The prices are a bit rich for me, but I walk through now and again. Transparency in dresses is frequent. Open Crochet, Lace, sheer, sparkles you name it. You have seen it on the runway, but round here it is far more common, with young slim women of all ages, including the teens. Often well shown on early evening strolls in the rays of the dying sun.
And a lot of spanish women have smaller breasts so can go braless under light summer tops, and do frequently. Not just at the beach or fancy marina but around the city, on the streets and in the parks. With most young women wearing thongs I suspect you would not notice visible panty lines, but would be mesmerized by the parade of casual braless beauties.
Many Americans would have conniptions if they saw nude kids running all over the beach, young women around the city braless, and the women and daughters of the rich casually going to dinner in light flowing transparents. Sometimes they have a matching color modity panel, sometimes they are just wearing a thong. A thong that often contrasts or sparkles through.
Yesterday, after a late afternoon at the beach, we walked down the block to get dinner. A was wearing a long cream colored open fretwork crocheted dress, over her swim thong.
For day use the fashion trend among the rich is not beached chalk white, but shades of cream, both on the women and men. For night time the wives and daughters pull of some stunning looks. |

I wore several outfits with mesh or fishnet on walks along the boardwalk or on Ocean Drive, and at restaurants. On some walks I tried out a black fishnet tank top and on other walks a black mesh thong bodysuit. Both are form fitting and low cut. I wore my black pleated short miniskirt over them.
There were no negative reactions, and none even from groups of young men. No stares. Maybe a few second glances. Some smiles. I got multiple positive comments. A young latina with a big smile, "I love it! I love it!" The maitre'd at the News Cafe had an outfit similar to mine with skimpy top and miniskirt and she said I looked great. Several servers at other restaurants, and people passing by on the boardwalk, said they liked my outfit.
I tried pairing the black mesh low cut thong bodysuit with 10 inch long, split side, black mesh short shorts. Two mesh layers equals opaque up front, but from the back it looks like booty shorts with thong underneath. I wore this outfit around the hotel, then took a long walk along the boardwalk. I was nervous for the first rew minutes but then realized no one was paying attention. No reactions. Mesh is very comfortable in hot humid weather. Light, airy. You feel every breeze on your skin. Perspiration wicks away. Works like an evaporative cooler. |

I noted a few women wearing something similar on Ocean Drive. I wore a small mesh crop top and Skinz g-string with the shorts. Good for hot weather. As I passed a restaurant one woman with a big smile gave me a thumbs up after seeing me in this outfit.
Another option was pairing my mesh thong bodysuits with the fishnet booty shorts. Mesh plus fishnet worked to obscure what was underneath. However, pointing up and with that tight front seam made for a subtle cameltoe effect. Wardrobe malfunction or feature? I went with it. I tied the drawstring to drape down the front. I had my tote bag for strategic placement. After 10 minutes walking in hot weather the fishnet fabric stretched a bit. Problem solved. So this outfit was total fishnet / mesh. While walking a couple of miles on the boardwalk I attracted no attention. Where else could I wear such an outfit other than Miami Beach?
I got a miniskirt in large fishnet fabric. I tried a fishnet g-string underneath but there was still too much see-through. A skinzwear g-string underneath was fine when I had on a mesh crop top with it. My low cut mesh thong bodysuit worked with the fishnet miniskirt too. |

I guess that is why younger teen and twenty women are not afraid to wear leight weight semi-sheer white tops around town. This took me by suprize when I first ventured into the city. One sees a lot more bra-less nipples than you ever see in the USA. Often with the lightest of gausey coverings. I am sure it's just the summer heat. You almost never see this in the USA, maybe because schools have drilled into young women what is "approprate" so as not to distract the boys. However I see some clothing brands now embrasing the braless and possibly visble nipple trend.
