I did a pretty successful job for the first 2/3 of the summer. We have a boat on Lake Michigan where we can tan nude at the bow. I also go to a men's bathhouse where I would lay out nude at the pool. There's also a beach that we like to go to where you can discretely go nude in areas or wear minimal swimwear anytime. I'd wear a thong there and just shift the straps to avoid the lines.
All was well for the first 2/3 of the summer, but then schedules went to Hell and we got little time in the sun. Now, I'm fake baking to prep for our vacation to Hedo in December. |

She is a woman in her forties and I have been seeing her for 16 years now. Anyway the cough examination did not take long, so I asked her if she would check on a mole on my belly. She said, "OK strip off to your undies and lie down on the coach." I had totally forgotten I was wearing a g-string underneath. So I was lying on my back, she checked the front of me without any comments, then she said "turn over now." So I did it and she said "I have never seen anybody with buttocks so well tanned, I wish there were more like you, so much better than these horrible white undies I see every day." I have to go back for another check up in six months time, so I'll make sure I am wearing a g-string again. by the way the mole on my belly was just a wart.

A few years back I switched from g-strings (Skinz Adjustable Micro G's) to thongs (Skinz Brauva)...I figured they would be a little sharper from the better placement that the thong could offer...but for summer 2017, I am going back to g-strings. I want them smaller and the thongs are a little bit on the higher side. Anyone else change tan line suits every year or are switching it up this year? |

Even when I'm not going for the tan line, and tan nude, the line tends to linger for months. Right now I have the all over things going because I'm in MN and have to use sunbeds in the winter. But as soon as summer rolls around I should be able to tan a couple times a week in the backyard, which means the thong tan line will be back....unless I decide to layout nude this year. Hmm, haven't decided.

I think there is nothing more alluring, sexy and interesting as a sharp/defined thong tan line. I love seeing them on other people. I love having one on my body. I think it make a statement. I see those with a thing tan line as being body confident. One the weather warms up I will be working on my tan line.

Never would have guessed using electrical tape, which is a pretty genius idea. I'd totally be willing to try that. I just went to the tanning salon today for the first time in months and decided to go nude (with a tanning pouch to prevent a burned penis) but I might have to bring back the tan lines.

It seems everyone who owns one owns a thong bikini too. They realize the tanlines from an OPT may be too big. That means that while wearing the OPT we get to see their waistline and ass line tanlines from their thong bikini or G string!Of course there's variation, saw a few full bikini tanlines getting erased too. Saw some real red sunburn lines from thong bikinis on girl with OPT on Southbeach. Must have been trying to cram a week of sun into two days!

Since we have been dating I hadn't spent too much time at the beach. Most of my swimming was doing laps at the gym where they won't let me wear a thong or brazilian bikini. This summer I had gone to the beach a few times wearing my thong. This weekend when we were in the bedroom she said to me, "your tan line is soooo sexy". Not sure if that's what got her turned on but it didn't hurt.

She's tanned like me and she's also into thong swimsuits. She's very jealous of me because I have a broad thong tanline. I kinda want to see her tanline, but she's very professional and she has clear boundaries. Anyway, she makes my waxing session bearable.
I have a dermatologist and she doesn't want me to go tanning. Since I have hyperpigmentation, she thinks that tanning could worsen the pigmentation. Oh well |

Of course, she's right, but it's a risk I accept willingly. I've only been 2 years to this doctor, but she's fairly young, & pretty good looking too, so now if she just knows her stuff, I'm in good shape! |

I'm sure my thongs and tan lines don't go unnoticed at the gym, but I've only had one conversation as a result, up until Wednesday. One of the guys I talk to regularly noticed my tan lines, and asked, "Where do you find sun that you can get a thong tan line?" I haven't been feeling well, so I really wasn't up for conversation, so I merely said that it's mostly from tanning salons. |

I printed off some pictures of my ass today at a Target store. It's always been another fun way for me to show off, especially in the winter when I can't hit the park or beach. 2 really cute young girls at the desk, but I don't know for sure who actually saw any of the pics. Someone took them off the printer and put them in the envelope, but that's behind the wall!

He just comments, "Did you just get back from vacation or is that leftover from the summer?" Had the sheet pulled down exposing my ass for about half the massage and that's all he ever said.

When I go abroad for a holiday I know I'm going to be tanning a LOT, then I'll buy several thongs of the same style so I can chop and change daily but also keep the same shape tan line. My tan lines haven't caused me any issues in the gym changing rooms etc. only guys asking if I've been away and that I've got a lovely colour. |

On the bench above and behind us was probably The most beautiful woman I have ever seen in person. Because of the way the boat was arranged, while setting up my gear, I was eye level with her crotch and bottom. She was in a black one piece with high cut legs, moderately cheeky bottom and a plunging neckline. She also had a very interesting tan line that had to be from a suit that was very cheeky or a thong. I was not the only one who noticed. I overheard her sister and her discussing it, and the dive master also made a comment. For a girl that good looking, she was amazingly nice, so much so, that out of character for me , I asked if she knew how much she looked like Jerri Ryan from Star Trek Voyager. She then told us that was a common occurrence when she gave presentations. I did notice on the ride home(after many rum punches) her husband rolled up his bored shorts like he would have preferred some less fabric

This year I went back to a thin strap triangle back and they look amazing. Tho keeping the thin strap in place is harder than the wide straps I had for the last few years.

That means she was wearing pasties out in the sun. They're popular at some S. Fla boating sandbar parties where girls don't want to go fully topless. Some are like fake nipples or some colorful flower petals.
Anyone else see this?

(a) Some nipples are more sensitive to sunlight.
(b) Some women are embarrassed because of perceived defects with their nipples, bumps, hairs etc.
(c) In many places you can avoid arrest if the nipple is covered. Even if not strictly legal, it gives the officer a plausible excuse for not writing a ticket.
(d) Men tend to ogle women's nipples, so a cover just cuts down on the amount of ogling.

I'll post some new pics in my gallery. But I've been going outside about an hour every 3-4 days and tanning in my back yard or back driveway. So far I've been seen my neighbors on both sides, two neighbors across the alley and two across the street. And of course my lady here at the house.
Much less discreet about it this year since just about everyone who could have seen me has seen me. And no one has cared. So I just kind of prance in and out of the house and go about my way. I'm rotating a few Daniel Alexander thongs and a few Joe Snyder Rios, to give you an idea of the style. And...well, you can see it in the gallery!

I religiously stuck to just one suit, a custom made, right sided, latex one-sided thong from VAL @ ‘rubber tree latex.com’.
Being made from latex it gets a little hot wearing it but it lets zero UV through so I now have the sharpest tan line ever..........
Hopefully my gym will open back up soon so I get the chance to show it off in the locker room before it fades.......... My OH is certainly enjoying it in the meantime though........

If I'm wearing a bikini or thong, I prefer one with string sides and I'll move the strings around so there's no tan line on my sides. If I'm at a place or beach where wearing a g-string is acceptable I prefer a g-string with minimal front and I'll, once again, move the strings around to minimize the tan. If at a very open minded beach, when laying buns up, I'll even pull the waist string down to eliminate the tan line from the string coming up from between my buns. (that's been kinda rare)

I do triathlon. I hate to have the cyclist tanline. It is ugly and it is uglier when you go to the swimming pool. Indeed, for swim training, swimmers wear normally a brief swimwear, and the boarshort tan line is very ugly with the brief swimwear (or with the thong swimwear for my case). That is one of the reason I like to tan with a thong, because my tan lines are not visible when I wear a brief swimwear or a thong at the swimming pool. However, I dread skin cancer. That is the reason why I apply a lot of sun cream (SPF 30 or 50). I apply suncream when I go to the beach of course, but I apply suncream when I ride my bike too. It prevents me from having too tanned legs and to have the cyclist tan line. In short, my goal is to have a thong tan line in order to don't have visible tan line when swimming BUT my goal is also to avoid intensive tan and to have only a light tan. Full tan but light tan. Thong tan lines, but light tan lines. In the old days (in the 80s), thonging was associated with (intensive) tanning. It is not true anymore. Nowadays, I can see a lot of young women who wear thong swimwear, and they stay in the shade or they put a lot of sun cream because tanning is not their goal. Thonging is not linked to tanning anymore. The reverse is an interesting reverse. As in the old days thonging was linked to tanning, people were wearing thong only during summer and at the beach or outdoor swimming pools. Now, thonging is more a way of life, just an other kind of swimwear with just a less coverage. And so, you can wear a thong even during winter, in an indoor swimming pool, or in a sauna. Disassociate thonging and tanning gave more freedom for thonging all year and everywhere. |

Re：Thong Tan Lines ( tanlines ) Date Posted：02/11/2021 11:26:24Copy HTML Last summer in UK I did a bit of an experiment by not wearing sun screen lotion and combined that with wearing as little as possible (sneakers..) - generally when doing yard work. Some nudists will do the same and get out of the sun when they start to feel they might burn. Overall it worked well; I got a good tan and had only very occasional reddening of my skin.
If I wore a T shirt, then I would also cover my neck and head as I find it is often the contrast between protected and unprotected areas that leads to the worst burning. Sounds obvious but what I mean is that with some cover, you don't notice the burn until too late.
I tend to redden/burn much quicker than my OH - i.e. she can usually naturally tolerate much more sun exposure than me. Despite this she almost always puts sun screen on. She was surprised at how I coped being out in the sun and not getting burned.
I got a good tan (compared with usual) and by the time we escaped to the Med in September I didn't look as pallid as the usual British tourist. Didn't continue the no sun screen routine over there - SPF 30 or 15 all over...
Result - no tan lines, no burn - happy guy.
