Just wondering if any of you have experienced this.

I was down the beach on friday with my girlfirend. I was thonging of course, during the day i was in and out of the water, At lunch time I decided to lay stomach down.  This caused my back to be curved, thus the resulting tan line cutting across the top of my buns instead of  where a g-string normally goes. After a great day at the beach it was a bit of a let down. Does anyone else find this to happpen? and what do you do about it?

I was a regular at Haulover nude beach for years and greatly enjoyed having an all over tan. When I moved to South Beach, I hung out on the beach in thongs and really got into the idea of a thong line. I was wearing Joe  Snyder or Dore low cut thongs.

When I recently decided to go to the beach in a small g-string that I had from my nudist days, I liked it better than the thong. However, I experienced quite a burn on the exceedingly white areas. I have decided to try to eliminate most of the lines by wearing different thongs and moving the straps to avoid this in the furure and to permit me to wear, or not,  whatever I want.

I recently have developed a g string tan line, but since I was spending time wearing suits without pouches I still have tanned equipment. 

One afternoon at Atlantic Shores in Key West I was talking to a girl who was wearing a micro thong topless and she was saying that she thought tanlines like mine were sexy on guys. 

I was wearing a suit that has a strap around everything and a strap around the root when I was laying on a float in the pool soaking up the sun and ended up pointed at 12 clock.  A couple of nude girls were standing there  drinking and talking and one turned to me and said "Don't you get a tanline there?" pointing to my strap.  I told her, yeah, but it's blurred because the skin in so loose.  She laughed, then said something about getting it seriously blurred! Interesting conversation starter!

Anyway, that's about the wildest tanline you can get, unless one of you guys has a condom tanline!

Some of those Dore missile/ no ball room suits would give you that sort of tanline!

I trust that the Bunn-G company won't be upset!  It's different anyway!  The Bunn-G just has one strap, none at the shaft.

Hello all fellow thongers!

I agree that the thong tan-line looks sexy and makes you feel confident in a very special way. Since I live in Denmark, i also work on my thong tan-line in a sun-studio. Right now i cant wait for me and my wife going on summer holiday to the Greek island Crete this summer. One week in the sun will for sure leave some very nice thong tan-lines for both me and my wife.

I agree with your statement, thong tan lines look great on anyone, maybe because it shows a lot of self confidence.

I also think that a thong tan line could even look much sexier than a thong riding above the wastline, especially when it's shown accidentally or "non intentionally". A thong riding above the waistline could sometimes be a bit pushy or 'in your face'...

I couldn't agree to more...Thong tan lines are hot.  Wearing no undies under a quite sheer white dress after a summertime of thonging, with people commenting on the fact that you shouldn't wear a white thong under a dress like that, is very hot too.

I love my tan lines and I think that a thong tan looks by far more sexy than a nude tan. Is more interesting to se a thong body than a bare one...

I prefer the tan line than nude tan,  I think it's so very sexy, and many men saw me in the loockers of gym or swiming pool tell that my "thong tan line" is great .  They are thinking "How I can obtain a thong tan line like he?  Hahahahahaha!!!!!!

But the most important thing is that I love my thong tan line, I love see me in the mirrow all days,  and I can remember my vacations and special thongs moments on beautifull beaches, specially in winter, when I must wear a overcoat and umbrella!!!   Uffffff!!! 

I'm waiting for the next summer in order to obtain a my love thong tan line.

I'm 20 and  a college student.... Got into thongs a few years ago.. Big into weights and fitness... Then I started tanning with thongs.. shaved everyting smooth... all I have to say is it is fricken sweet.  Especially when I'm wearing my mansilk g-string with the thong outlines... its badass.

it's a very interesting feedback especially coming from a female,  I agree with you, thong tan lines look great especially if they are acompanied by a fit body... Perhaps they can be even sexier on men than on women,  because of the fact that they could be sort of "expected" on a woman, but not really on a man, because of all that negative stigma about men wearing thongs...

Personally I think that a thong tan line on a male shows a man with tons of personality, and a thong tan line on a woman is hot, hot, hot!!!

First post here, but I've been reading for a while.

I'm really picky about my tanlines.  I thought I was just weird until I read this thread, now I don't feel so bad!

I actually had some custom suits made to get the tanline that I was looking for....actually took 2 or 3 iterations to get it to fit exactly how I like.  Once we got it figured out, I ordered several to keep me stocked up.  Had to get string sides, an extra small triangle in the back, sort of high waistlines, and narrow pouch with a "v" at the top.  Perfect!

I had Dore make my custom suits.  Before that, I used a modified Skinz suit, but it was very difficult to keep everything in line, and I could never get the defined tanline in the front. 

I am glad to know that I'm not the only one having custom suits for that particular tanline!  The small sides that I like work out pretty well, but it takes some work.  At the beach, I have to get my wife to make sure the sides are lined up, and in the tanning salon, I bring a small mirror to check that everything is lined up and straight. 

Not only by having custom suits makes for the perfect tanline, but is also much easier to keep the suit straight with the custom made suit, since it really does fit perfectly.

I knew voyeurweb has great many bashers, especially for male posts.  But I learned to look past those bad comments.   Makes you not want to post, but you just gotta show off a little.  The female contributors want to see males post, they say this in the forums, but the far majority are men looking at all the pics.

I was at Lanier Park, one of the many beaches (about 50 I think) at Lake Lanier in north atlanta.  I've only seen one thonger, a female with her husband and young child in the numerous times I've been there.   No one has ever bothered me, except the usual looks, giggles, smiles, and others that try not to notice.   Couple girls told me several times I had a great tan, but I didn't think to ask her about thong tan lines, for opinion sake.  Oh well, next time.

I like to wear a g-string to the beach to minimize the tan line. It's difficult to line up the strings exactly, and they'll sometimes move any-way when you move around, so instead I try to minimize the tanline by moving the strings around.

If the environment is very open-minded I've even slipped the waist string down to eliminate the vertical line above the buttocks.

What sort of thong are you wearing? Looks a bit like my Skins string thong, but a little more breif at the front.

My girlfiend's thong tan from a couple of years back. Now she wears a variety of thongs and g-strings so that the tan marks are not so bold, shame, i think next year she should wear the same shape thong for a whole week, it would look awesome.

Tan lines like Buttmans girlfriend can look great. But who is going to see them unless she removes her microwear completely for a photograph (as in her case and a very pronounced tan line revealed showing her style of thong) or wears a different style of bottoms.

An overall tan is nice too.

Well it's been my observation on nude beaches that often the hottest chicks on the beach are either wearing a g string bottom or nude sporting a g string or thong tan line!

This summer I've seen some stunning firm asses with sharp g string tan lines.
