The last few summers I've tried to find some white or linen trousers/pants but never found anything suitable... they only seem to be made for the girls and I don't really want to end up wearing anything too feminine - it's not really my style! Any suggestions as to wear I could get some white trousers in the UK, ahwahw (or anyone else)?

In response to nicthong, I would neither wish nor dare to buy anything other than men's styles. With M & S I find that their waists are cut generously and so for casual trousers I can often buy one size smaller than usual, hence the good fit around the bum !

Re my earlier post, I was in a House of Fraser store yesterday and they had three different styles of white trousers - two by Linea and one by Polo Ralph Lauren. 

I think I found a couple of white pants that are thin enough to see a thong thru if it's a dark color.

One brand is "No Bounderies". and the other is White Stag, Stallion, white Canyon, or Falls, or something. Walmart has them in the ladies department. Dont quote me on that second name though. I cant be for sure of it.

I always wanted to get thin, white pants, and wear a red thong under, just to make sure there is no missing it! Haven't had the guts to do it yet, or found men's pants that are tight enough and no back pockets to obstruct the view. I think there is nothing wrong with wearing women's clothes, though, and would be open to that as well.

Walmart has quite  a few white pants/ trousers in the ladies department that just might work. I havent had the time to try any on, but there are quite a few that may end up thin enough.

Ok, I broke down and bought a pair of women's white pants today. They are really great too! My wife cant believe how well she can see right thru them. Plus they fit her and my daughter although they are abit loose on my daughter.

You guys who are into them and into being seen wearing a thong, should check them out.

Try to find someone who sews, and can alter your Polo shirts. I have my wife take a few inches off of mine so that I am not tucking in a bunch of material from my shirt tails.

I'd also think that black thongs would stick out even more with white pants.

As the one who started this topic two months ago it has been interesting reading the other comments.

Very early on I replied to nicthong that the trousers that I had bought from M & S were mens. However, he did start me thinking and I have now bought two pairs of ladies white trousers and they are superb. One is linen and the other is stretch and the fit and rear visibility is superb. Neither has back pockets and white thongs / g strings are very visible.

Other people have mentioned wearing black or red underneath but whilst I cannot yet work out the physics there is no doubt in my mind that white shows through far better than any other colour.

For those in the UK, my normal trouser size is 36 waist and 33 inside leg and the womens size 14 long fits me perfectly. Hope this helps.

I tried to buy see through white linen trousers for years but never had much luck. I've recently had a few pairs made in white muslin. I have one close fitting ankle length pair that are very see through and always wear white or white sheer thong, g-string or slingshot beneath and there is no mistaking it from any angle. I have a short mesh tank (almost a coarse fishnet weave) that I wear also, usually with a slingshot so that the straps can be seen under the tank and are exposed around the neck. The looser fitting pants aren't quite as see through unless the light is behind you. It is fun sometimes seeing people move around to get a better view.

I only once wore a white lace g thong under a tighter pair of very thin 3/4 muslin pants. It was fun but one guy who was near me nearly had a heart attack, although he was well enough to follow me for about 4 blocks.

Agree that white is the most prominent colour. I've tried most colours under including neon pink mesh but only aqua or neon yellow come close.

I have been waering white trousers for years now, mainly in the summer.  Everyday trousers for me are a pair of white tracksuit bottoms as my job is as a Fitness instructor.  Initially, I used to wear a longish T-shirt pulled out so you couldn't see my butt, but as time went on and my confidence grew I ventured to wearing my T-shirt tucked in.  Not so obvious that I'm wearing a thong, but you definately can't see any VPL.   My other work alternative are a pair of white Shorts, thigh length, which when you bend down can eaily show a thong is being worn, and now  they have seen a view washes you can see the V shape from the front where the pouch is.  Both forms of clothing are tastful and not too extreme, I still want a job at the end of the day.  It hasn't hampered my chances with the girls either!

My other pair of trousers I wear are a pair of thin white combat trousers.  These are great for travelling in as they are light, and when you reach your hot destination allow you to still stay cool whilst getting to your hotel.  The fun part is always the reactions people have, never have I been approached, but you can see people especially the cabin crew talking between themselves and saying, Is he or is he not wear underwear.  When I bend down or have to reach up, their questions are usually answered.

I always wear a white thong, mainly a brass monkeys from www.figleaves.com.  When you have a good tan it makes it look even better.

@ everyone: Has anyone tried the sheer pants sold by Sublime Bikinis? I'm tempted to get a pair to use as a cover up but just wondered if anyone has any experience of their fit and quality? Thanks! - Nic

Yes I wondered about those also. Suits you swimwear have a sheer long beach pants item as well. Unfortunately their postage rates for outside the US are outrageous.

The one pair of trousers I brought were from a while back, when I visted Birmingham shopping for the day and found a shop called Estillo.  Since then I've started to wear my own combat trousers.

Whilst visting a Kite shop resently I noticed the material they use is ripstop nylon and is easy to sew and is very thin, so I brought a few yards of different colours, white, green and orange to name a few and past it onto a family friend to make them.  I haven't any clue or the time to do something like this myself.

When I picked them up she was at bit worried about how see through they were, and said that I should wear a pair of shorts underneath.  However, I needed to do a fitting and didn't have a pair of shorts with me, only my thong.  So there I am in the middle of her lounge with my jeans around my ankles and my bum showing, when she saw what I was wearing she went very red.  I stood on the stool so she could adjust the legs and I could see her hand shaking, which is not good when she's using pins!!

We were just starting to turn up the second leg when her 17 year old daughter walked into the room.  She started to speak to her mom and noticed my trousers, and said she liked them and if her mom could make her a pair.  She finised by saying you can really see your thong through them, nice bum! 

The fit and look was really good when she had finished them, and they were semi-sheer, and feel like I have nothing on.  When walking around it's plainly obvious that I'm wearing a thong and especially when I bend over!!

I had a white and orange pair made and wear  them to the beach.

I think I might get another pair made, just hope been's they are made of kite material I don't fly away in the wind!!!

PRADA White Linen Trousers For Sale (BNWT)
I've been looking for some very light-weight white linen trousers for the past 2 or 3 summers and have never managed to find any in my size. Recently I saw some listed on eBay at a reasonable price so I bid and won. They're made by Prada of Milan and are great quality. Unfortunately, they were advertised and are labelled as 30" waist, 34" inseam but having received them yesterday I discovered they're actually larger than that - 32/33" waist and 34.5" inseam - so they fall right off my 30" waist! I was gutted! They're 100% pure cotton/linen and I'm fairly confident that when on a body they actually fit, you'd easily be able to see a thong through them. I figured I'd offer them to my fellow thongers here who have shown an interest in white trousers before relisting them on eBay. Ideally I'd like to sell them in the UK (it just makes payment and postage a whole lot easier) and I'm happy to sell them on for a ?5 (inc P&P). If anyone's interested, email me at teff@mail.com - I'll sell them to the highest bid (equal to or greater than ?5) received by this Sunday (Dec 12th), 18:00GMT. I bought a pair of white linen trousers. They had back pockets, but that made the view much more sexy. Only y-form was to be seen and I mostly wore white thongs. But if I wore different coloured ones it was very funny. Once I wore the trousers with a red thong. You can guess the questions because the trousers were not completely, but very see through.

Try not to wear pants if I can avoid it, I prefer shorts. And always consider the color of my thong per the "to be seen or not to be seen" factor.  I especially like to run in those onion skin running shorts.  I've cut out the stupid "mens supporter" and, of course, wear a thong.  Most of the time I'm just wearing a black thong, but sometimes like the thrill of wearing a lime green thong with semi-sheer yellow onion skin shorts.

If you havn't found any white linen trousers b4 Spring try your nearest H&M shop ( there seems to be one in most major towns now ). Over the last couple of years they've had a pretty good selection of lightweight , light coloured ( including white ) linen trousers. If you ain't tall you'll have to get them shortened, but they're good value anyway so the overall price will still be pretty good.

Also, as for summer white pants, a year ago I got these incredibly sexy 3/4 length white pants from United Colors of beneton, men's line in Europe (Brussels). So I am not sure if US stores carry it. But the material is 100% cotton voile. So very very see through. It's cut like cargo, with pockets around the knee. But it is a fantastic fit with 7-8 inch rise. Most underwear you wear underneath these pants are visible, which I don't really like to show. The only ones that doesn't show is freddy string Hom or plume. I have found all other thongs that I own are visible through these great pants.

Another pair I have which I just got the other day is from Old Navy. Of course, this one is from the women's sections.  But you can't really tell as the fit of these are very straight. Doesn't have extra material around the hip. They are called women's bermuda shorts and come in few different colors. They have a white. They are only online at oldnavy.com or

I am 30 inch waist, well can squeeze into a 28 honest. So first I got a women's 4. Too big. Got a 2. Perfect fit. They also come with a cloth strip belt that you are supposed to tie into a knot in front. But i took it out.
