Doubt my so called imagined negativity is what i believe others think of me.. Having good instincts i can carefully understand who hates what i wear... Usually i'm good at reading people and observing them for a period of time i can notice they don't like me and i can prove it.. Making a long story short i've overheard first hand women chatting near me and agreeing that my appearance is simply not to their or anyones liking... Some just don't want to be polite or tolerate my attire usually by ignoring me as though i'm not around, almost always proving my instincts right..
By just talking about my thoughts i doubt anyone cares hearing a yes man to all respondence to the forum... While my attire is slightly unique and attention getting i push on in the wind of negativity while me and some experience...
So many here prefer to tell me to just shut up..

Mack Back, i gotta say, i learned something from your post on 1/4/14, that some women tease men on purpose to see them bulge. i might not have believed it if Sharon didn't back it up. It never occured to me that women were that in tune to that, so much that they could make it happen, and notice it haappening without physical contact. To me its seems like an adult fun way to pay compliments.

I'd  never thought of it before either before mack_back brought it up, In hindsight thinking back, this has certainly happened to me, I'm quite sure a few  ladies have spent a little too long rubbing tanning lotion in  or acted a little to provocatively around me just to see if they could insight a reaction, I've gotta admit they've never failed!!!

A lot of common sense on this thread.  I agree with Mack that people will laugh or be upset when you wear a micro thong or tiny g-string to a regular beach.  But I don't know why Mack goes on and on about it.  If you want to walk around almost nude why not go to a clothing optional beach, a private adult resort, or someplace private?  Do that and no one laughs.  If you walk around with a bulge in a tiny suit then 99% of the people who see you will laugh behind your back or think you are a creep - my opinion and I think closer to reality to a lot of the stuff you read here.

Jack64 - I agree.

If we are going to PROMOTE the wearing of thongs at public beaches and pools, stuff like "enhanced" bulges and see-through has to STOP.

Not only do people LAUGH when they see stuff like this, some call the POLICE.  Even if the suit is "legal", the presence of law enforcement investigating a complaint diminishes any positive impressions that have been made.

When someone calls law enforcement, we do NOT want the caller to complain "There's a naked guy on the beach".  Instead we WANT the question to be "Are thongs legal?" and we WANT the response to be "Sure, you can wear one if you wish!"

itanng, i agree with what u say, except for "STOP". u said not only do people laugh but complain and call police". Well that's not evertbody. what about those of us who enjoy seeing others who are daring. who like to show off our bodies? I guess like many situations in life, we need to use our heads and use discretion. i do think "see-thru" is inappropriate in most public settings, but I guess for the record, I'm a supporter of skimpy and minimal. why should those with opposing opinions be able to deny people like us our pursuit of happiness. i always say...keep it legal. now i say...and use discretion.

I think everyone just needs to use some discretion.  On a public beach a regular bikini or thong is fine but just be discrete.  On a nude beach or if you are at the beach and it's private then an enhanced thong which to me is more of a sexual thing is fine.  I went to the Sunsplash event this past summer and at that venue bulge thongs were fine around the pool. Well because it was  thong event.   I wore one a Jovana low push up thong on Haulover.  I wouldn't wear that though on Fort Lauderdale beach.

A couple years ago I was at Miami Beach with my wife and there was a man in his 40's wearing a tiny g-string,  He was standing near near the sidewalk along the beach staring down at his c... and adjusting his pouch.  My wife (who I try to convince that it is Ok for me to wear a Brazilian bikini) looks at him and says "oh my god do you want to look like that?" and then she laughed and looked away.  It wasn't sexy.  It was just strange.  I guess it's Ok to wear such a thing at Miami Beach but I don't think you are going to get the reaction you want.  I like wearing small bikinis but I want to wear them where I can fit in and feel sexy.  I don't want to be perceived as the beach clown in a thong or the one people laugh at.  It does matter to me because I want it to be fun and exciting - not embarrassing.  That's why I try to find places where I truly fit in and where it is appropriate.

Re:To Bulge or Not to Bulge

Jack64 - I think you are right, when the wearer pays attention to the thong or g-string, by continually adjusting it or looking down at it like it was a pet cat people are going to find that a little pervy.

I decided that when wearing a thong on the beach I would not look down or adjust it when other people are looking. When out running I sometimes I can't remember which thong I put on that morning, but will not look down to check. I always try to act like my focus is on the beach, the sea, the run, the sunshine or just avoiding running over people on their towels. If I am not making a big deal about what I am wearing then other people ignore the thong too.

The attitude and body language of the person wearing a thong strongly speaks to the observer about how to view them.
I think it is a combination of self-confidence, and getting on with something works. Doing something, sunning, swinging, running, playing volleyball helps a lot. The observer sees a volleyball player wearing a thong - instead of a loitering man who is adjusting and preening, which they see as a perv flashing or playing with his junk.

It also helps if other people on the beach are treating you like a human.  By saying good morning and smiling with locals and tourists alike the casual observer sees that other people are not avoiding me. When the life guard comes out of his box to wave, or as one did to day to cheer and give a fist pump, others see me as part of the accepted beach culture, and accept me too. When the coffee shop girls smile and greet me by name the tourists at the tables treat me like a celebrity and not a homeless mental case.

Most of my thongs and gstrings don't bulge more than necessary. Obviously a small gstring that only covers what needs to be covered is going to be cup-shaped in some way, it can't be flat. I have taken the serger to a few to take out any extra floppiness in the front pouch.

I like the engineer's answer to the old question of if the glass is half empty or half full,  - Neither, the glass is twice the size it needs to be.  If someone needs a ring to help them fill the pouch, the pouch is too large.

I don't go for the 3D, 4D pushout, rocket or other look at my package type suits. I have a very few that do tend to do a bit of that, and I don't wear them very often. Mostly I wear thongs or strings that cover what is necessary and hold it close and fast, so it does not flop around too much when running. I guess I am lucky that when soft I am small and it all tucks away quite neatly.  I guess people who are hung like elephants have a problem of where to put their junk. Not much of a problem for the average guy like me.

Wearsthongs, I agree with your comment and especially with how people might complain about one who is bulging.  I like the way you put: "What's worse, is when they complain to the park, the people are not going to say "I saw a bulge suit and it was obscene for around my children, please ban bulge suits" they are going to say "I saw a man in a thong and it was disgusting, please ban thong swimwear". "  Well said.

Some well considered comments here - use discretion etc.  You know what you are wearing and probably why.  At the risk of making this one run and run - please don't wear a bulge/missile/enhancer thong on a nude beach - take your kit off and join in with everyone else.  Nudists/naturists get a hard time too from the authorities and strangely outraged members of the public - and they don't need more hassle.
I guess there are 'party' beaches where anything goes - wear one there and enjoy the day.  Please keep nude beaches - nude.

hard to find a conversation as popular and more full of wishful thinking than this one......regardless of bulge size, this issue that will keep thongs and G's outta the mainstream acceptance category is the flip side - essentially, the fully exposed tush.........

I second the comments by tiggerix

"Please don't wear a bulge/missile/enhancer thong on a nude beach - take your kit off and join in with everyone else.  Nudists/naturists get a hard time too from the authorities and strangely outraged members of the public - and they don't need more hassle."

An to tanlines2t: The terror of  "the fully exposed tush......" , you mean like when men and women wear thongs ?  Seriously ?

No, I think people will accept men and women with fully exposed tushes if they are obviously out for the sun and NOT out to create an erotic spectacle.

This morning, for my Birthday, I wore a tiny orange g-string to the beach. It is not a push out suit, and I was, as far as I know totally accepted. At one point a young women intercepted me and said "Do you recognize me from bicycling?". I then had a good chat with her and her boyfriend.

I think the very minimal suit, but which keeps everything tucked down, made people to feel more comfortable than if I had been wearing a suit with a push out bulge.

I have worn push out suits and think people are just little more weary and less friendly when I do. It depends a bit on the cut of the thong or g-string, but the thongs that tend to create a more pronounced bulge tend to be the ones when I detect a little less friendliness.  Maybe that is my imagination.

On the other hand I have not noticed any difference in reaction between wearing a thong or g-string.  I can't compare thong to speedo because I almost never wear anything more than a thong.

Re:To Bulge or Not to Bulge

JM, your last 2 comments on this thread are my sentiments exactly.

All of us on here are obviously fascinated by thongs, we own more thongs than most women and we have them in vast arrays of colours and styles and revel at any opportunity to wear them in public. It's almost a hobby for us and when we see someone else in a thong, girl or guy, young or old, we have a good look, try to guess the brand or style and check confidence levels of said individual.

But where 'normal' (and I use that word in jest) people are freaked out is when they get an insight into how into thongs we are. Like JM said, if I were to strut around looking at and touching my bulge and my bare ass and clearly getting excited, people would thing I was some pervo and that I got my kicks from shocking people in public.

The reality is, none of us are like that. By all means stick on your best thong and show the prudes what they're missing but if you have to preen, touch and generally love yourself, do it in the privacy of your house. We need to show the world that we are normal guys and not fun-loving inappropriate freaks.

Currently, I have a preference for Joe Synder bulge thong or a Muscleskins poser thong. They felt more comfortable than the traditional thongs.

That is my entire sentiments exactly as you put it and not your imagination nor mine... Wearing a speedo that does push me out has the same effect as a g-string or thong i wear. I get grief wearing a thong, while a speedo less people can ask me too wear something with more coverage then i have already have on..
Find people less friendly seeing me because my bulge stands out at the gym in tights or the pool in speedo's. Find on the nude beach women are wary talking to me either too intimidated, them wearing clothes and me being nude, while wanting to ask me something, yet too shy to talk......

Suppose seeing something that women enjoy viewing isn't a bad thing, yet many keep a distance just to be safe from me... Took a long time before women who get to know me are relaxed talking or staring upon my bulge. Yet it is fun seeing women i know for a long time keep censoring themselves when chatting  while still taking glances upon my bulge..... Even women i noticed staring at my bulge by pausing with a glazed look zeroing in on it, while they never seem to forget me, after i see them with my clothes on... They keep looking upon me as if i know that guy intimately, but we never spoke or said hello.....

Would i stop showing my bulge off just so women would feel i'm more approachable? Not a chance, to much fun seeing their shocked reactions... Watching these women lose their train of thought because seeing it bulge out, or being called out by friends she is being distracted because of me or my bulge, very fun indeed....  Yet i don't wear push up thongs find it makes my bulge look as though i'm erect thus to much for people to understand it's not the case but the cut of the g-string.... difficult to explain when everyone believes the opposite..... While just normally tucked away gives me enough attention from women....

When women feel i'm not appropriately attired they will bitch or leave not wanting to see my spectacle be it thong, speedo, tights what have you they will always be negative until you wear dork shorts.... While other women come to the pool they are impressed, intrigued, shocked but tolerate me from a distance even get a laugh or to from the surreal advantage point i give them to watch... Even though i get no verbal compliments, doesn't mean women are negative at what they are looking upon....

For example yesterday i had a older 50 year old women in a one piece swimsuit looking upon every man at the aquatic facility.. She had a smile on her face but she was very subtle minding her business looking at all the shapes and sizes of males bodies. She talked to none but me in the sauna. She asked me where i bought my swim cap from.... Seeing her glance many times at my bulge in my tiny cut bikini bottoms sitting beside her on the bench all while trying to act normal containing herself..  After she got off the top tier bench in the sauna she made eye contact with me briefly smiling saying politely goodbye. While her stare eyeing my bulge for  much longer period before she turned around to leave.... Although i didn't receive a compliment from the polite lady during our brief chat i had the sense to believe she wanted to but was afraid, hesitating in her words or chatting further censoring things she wanted to say..... Her entire body language wanting to face me turning her legs towards me on top of the bench was attempted, then aborted as seemingly looking to obvious that staring upon me directly maybe uncomfortable....

So when people on this board write it's my imagination or my thoughts reading other women's minds are falsehood it's not correct..Almost always we males have to read between the lines to see if women have interest in us. Most times you won't get a compliment in fact sometimes get negativity also throwing us off their scent... Body language facial expressions as well as overhearing them talking about certain topic with others can observe their behaviour characteristics. This then gives us a place to start or assume certain women are intrigued attracted to us or just our bulges...

My wife and I discussed this and to answer what we feel, a man wearing a bulge suit is similar to a woman wearing a triangle bikini top.  A bulge suit shows the male form just as a small triangle top shows a woman's form.  The main difference is how society views this form.  As my wife would rather go nude than wear a camel toe bikini I would rather go nude than wear a bulge suit, but if a suit is needed to comply with the law I would wear one if needed, but I prefer wearing sliding front G-strings because they can be adjusted to a narrower front and in my opinion look and feel better.

I don't want to be seen as if I'm trying to show off the 'goods'. I'd really like to be able to comfortably wear my thong on any beach without issue, so trying to emphasize things doesn't feel quite right on a 'family' beach. I think a Skinz standard thong or something similar is OK in these situations. A (true) G-string is generally a bit skimpy for that for a male, and I don't wear enhancing or 'push-out' style suits ordinarily.
I have worn some skimpy, sheer, and enhancing styles at times, but generally on more isolated or nude beaches where there are only adults present. Of course there have been exceptions from time to time, but it's all about reading the crowd and acting appropriately, isn't it?

One of the things I fail to take into account is that because I have checked my self in a mirror and have become acclimatised with whatever I am wearing - I become desensitised to how others see me.  Because I am used to the view, I no longer know how 'out there' I might look on any given beach.  Many thong/string styles are ill fitting.  Most times I find it easier to be either nude or wearing a very skimpy 'speedo' style.  I don't think I have found a thong/string that I am entirely happy with, in terms of how others might see it.  Personally I like the JS bulge thong, but it does look odd to most other beachgoers.  I like the JS Capri for fit and comfort, but I think a photo of the back view is probably a bit more feminine than I would like.  I should probably try the JS standard thong - just haven't got round to it, mainly because you have to send back about half of their stuff due to being wrongly sized/proportioned.

Re:To Bulge or Not to Bulge

Date Posted:01/22/2014 07:14:09Copy HTML

What i found interesting in one example showing my bulge penis outline a women can't help not to stare upon it. This beauty at the gym which i call blondie who is breathtaking tall and has pretty face. She often never noticed me before or cared... This blonde had a snarky smile seeing attired which she might of found silly for me to wear. Once i showed off my body when i was at the pool she noticed me looking in while making way to the changing area... After that initial encounter she began to look for me while i was in the gym. She began to take me seriously and overlooking others to get a chance to glance that i was around... Knowing she was the type that would never date a guy like me i stopped caring or thinking of her again. Although i noticed her staring upon me while i had on tights on in the gym which she never wore herself, always baggy juicy couture track pants.. Low and behold she gathered enough confidence to wear tights one day, yet i could see she was uncomfortable wearing them or someone like me looking upon her flat behind.... Maybe she got the confidence staring upon me and decided she could wear them as well..

The blonde and me never spoke she avoided working out nearby and so did i because of her bitchy, i'm to good for you attitude.

One day i decided to be little cheeky showing my outlined shaft in my workout tights. Well the blondie  sat beside me on a bench which never happened before. I kept doing my workout looking in the mirror ignoring her as she does to me on many occasions. So out of my peripheral vision i noticed the blondie began to stare at my bulge outline. It was funny because she always just laughed me off the way i looked with her snide smile... Yet she began to really take notice looking at my long shaft outline which was readily seen... Her shocked look and serious demeanour was priceless so i didn't bother to give her a stare.. The blondie was intrigued with bulging eyes that i never seen before letting her enjoy my bulge. Then i began to notice her standing up getting a better angle upon me...   I looked over to her while i was resting between sets then she automatically turned away quickly frightened not to be noticed caught staring.... This was priceless to notice this hot blonde take such obvious attention upon me and my bulge outline..

The next couple days i was at the gym but this time had my bulge well hidden and under control.. A female friend sat down on the bench next to me on the right side facing me chatting about things, watching me workout... Then the blondie was beside me on the left bench which i noticed. I paid no attention to the blonde but i knew she was listening in and staring upon me. My female friend was facing in blondies direction and began to grin suddenly looking upon her. I knew my female friend noticed as i that the blonde taking notice and looking confused was staring upon my bulge... The blonde had a confused stare seeing me the other day or my obvious shaft outline but today was not apparent.... The blonde got out of their quickly before i turned looking over at why my friend was grinning upon. I knew my female friend knew the blonde liked to see my bulge through the tights and thus the big grin, didn't need to ask her because i heard her talking about my penis and bulge with women at the gym in the past.... Knowing well my female friend she is dying to experience my penis that is only reason she hangs out with me at the gym, with her knowing very well what i have down below while seeing me swim in thongs and tiny swimwear.....

As for the goddess blonde i haven't seen her for awhile but knowing she got a good look what i have or my big bulge, she maybe more interested in me then ever before... Goes to show you showing off what you got women respond.... Sometimes a soccer mom may say disgusting in front of me while other single women just are shocked at what their seeing but never look away. Almost find them addicted  or routinely needing to stare upon my big shaft outline bulge without comment... Suppose just watching me is a compliment even though nothing is being said.....
Just the other day walked along the pool deck to my towel to leave. As i passed by the gym windows from outside seen two cute 20 something females smile, grinning to one another as they noticed my big bulge in a tiny bikini bottom... As i turned around seeing them smiling talking to one another exactly what their eyes immediately focused on as i passed by... It's pretty evident what women view in and instant when the opportunity is their.. As both females are smiling knowing exactly what their eyes were focused on my bulge,  they both could read their friends minds without saying why the big smiles. Just as my female friend knew the blondie was watching upon my bulge and the blonde knew she was caught by my friend, with her grin....
So it's no surprise not seeing this gorgeous blonde at the gym. She probably thinks my female friend spoke about the blonde looking me over or exactly where.... Blondie knowing that my friend will say this women is interested in you on the way she watched you makes her shy and embarrassed to face me again.  Happened to me before an old hot cougar now married came out after long and many stares of my bulge saying it was "impressive". She then found my response not to her liking, and now avoids me as much as possible. Yet i know this cougar loves what i display and probably is fantasizing how she can experience it despite her husband being around knowing her infatuation with my bulge...

matchigthongs, which 'one' thong would that be, if you don't mind me asking? and is that before or after you've been acclamatised and desensatised? For me, i think my wisest choice is a lean seat 1/2" MS bikini CLASSIC. like i've said before, i can wear smaller where i go, but for all around seemingly acceptible, what women compliment me on, and whats legally allowed....that's what i choose. I'll 'skimp out' ( go skimpier) every now and then for the freedom feel though.

I guess from what i usually wear, if I'm wearing a G-string since I no longer have any regular thongs and haven't wore a regular thong since the 80's.  All of what I own are adjustable front G-strings and most are sheer mesh or fishnet material, and when I wear them I usually push the sides as narrow as possible.  So, in conclusion I guess I prefer to bulge

dobbybeach: my one thong is probably a modest alphamoda skopelos with a thong back or rio back. But it's totally a personal opinion and everybody has different views and body shapes - as seen in this board. To me it looks good and acceptable from the front on any beach or at any pool. The fit is comfortable and on my body it looks great from the back too. I will wear that on a beach where I'm the only one in a thong and I feel just about OK. It doesn't reveal too much, look silly and "out there", or too feminine, or like somebody who wants to wear a thong but doesn't have the courage to do it properly and so draws attention to himself - if that makes sense. My JS thongs are comfortable but are either not right from the back, or not right from the front, but never both. Strange, but probably just something about how I'm built.Anyway, it's all very subjective.

this and other threads have been co-opted and contaminated by folks with agendas that - in my opinion - require head-shrinking: both group and individual.......I thought we were a live-and-let-live sub-culture, with enough social responsibility to know where to draw the line, so to speak..........what I have read over the past few weeks does not prove that premise out........first and foremost, we wear what we wear for individual contentment.........we do not wear it for overall social acceptance, nor should we be wearing it to offend or challenge the square-minded........okay, I got that off my chest........

tanlines2thin, i am curious about your opinion, but i can't tell what's bothered you. all i can tell is that you disagree with something. what do you mean by "where to draw the line"? matchingthongs, thanks for sharing. i was posing in my mirror the other day and realized "bulge" can be different things. i personally prefer a more classic front, and of course i like it to look like i am well proportioned down there(bigger). instead of the push up and out bulge suit. that is , on a family beach. I definitely think i'm acclamatised(sp?) and desensatised to it. the few times i wore a poser the feedback i got seemed clear to me that it wasn't appropriate...even from the people who liked it. one guy who complemented me also said he owned posers and torpedos, but wouldn't wear them there.

I see bulge effect swim and underwear as an evolution in style that's simply another option for guys. Just like cheekier bottoms, sheer swim/underwear, unlined swimwear,  ladies/girls showing off their nipples, camel toes and shaving bare; guys wearing a bulge producing thong or bikini is an individual choice that's not for everyone.

You can't really overlook the fact that there are more bulge effect choices in men's swimwear and underwear then ever before. When this thread was started in 2008, I saw a whole lot less choices from established brands then I do today.

Personally, I prefer wearing both thong undies and swimwear that enhance my package. When I'm dressed in a tiny swimsuit at the beach or wearing tight, compression shorts - I want to show off a little. It looks more masculine in my opinion to have a natural looking bulge then to have it smooshed or tucked away.

As with my other examples, there are levels of decency to each of us. Everyone has their opinion on what's decent, on where these styles can or should be appropriate. Wearing a bulge suit that shows your actual penis girth and length with a sleeve probably isn't appropriate for a public beach but to each their own.

I can understand tanlines2thin's frustration. My first one relates to the title of the thread. When wearing a thong or even a bikini a man will bulge! The only way to try to get away from this is the Koala "feminizing" suits. Fine, if that it is your style.
When it comes to how much bulge, or even whether to wear a thong at all, it first depends on the venue. On some beaches, thongs are illegal and enforced. On some other beaches, thongs are illegal but not enforced (e.g. Ft. Zach). As an aside, female toplessness is technically not allowed on South Beach but is certainly not enforced. There are reports on this board of beaches where wearing a thong would be socially uncomfortable and there are some other beaches where most anything will fly.
When wearing any thong or G-string men, especially, will not be "normal". We will be in a very limited minority. This is not negative at all, but the desire to be in the mainstream will logically result in wearing dork shorts. There must be a bit of rebel in all of us or otherwise we would conform to the common definition of "normal swimwear" at wt whatever location we are.The decision of what to wear (degree of bulge, narrowness, sheerness, etc.) is a decision that has to be based first on the "vibe" of the venue and second on the preference or the wearer. JM is, of course, correct in his  statements that, whatever you choose to wear, your probability of acceptance is optimized when your behavior is normal, even though your style of dress may not be.

Try Dore Rocket suits at Beachndance or Dore on ebay.  They are deeper and larger pouches than a torpedo, keeps me lifted and pointed!  Have worn on South Beach and other south florida beaches and some other pools around the country.

I recently returned from a short vacation at what may be described as a reasonably observation, family-oriented destination. Having seen this thread before going, I decided to conduct a very informal 'social experiment'.
First, I should declare that my personal preference, where appropriate, would always be for a minimal thong with a bulge. However, that certainly wasn't appropriate at this venue.
It was remarked above that how much bulge first depends on the venue. I'd like to suggest it first depends on the guy. I saw guys coming out the water with regular swim shorts clinging to them and some guys naturally have more than others. I guess the real question then is what we do with what we've got.
My experiment worked like this: different size suits (largest was a 1" speedo, smallest a 3/8" half back muscleskins micro) with and without a ring (thus with a pronounced bulge vs natural). With or without a ring made no difference whatsoever to the reaction I got (though I felt far more confident with it) - what really made the difference was scaling down the suit. My conclusion: the bulge wasn't an issue at all but it was the smaller suit that really turned heads. No complaints mind you, just lots of double takes.

nicthong your correct, yes scaled down swimwear gets heads turning... Or in my case laughter or confused looks... Worn my similar skinz rio to a your muscleskins rio and definitely got attention unlike wearing a swim brief... Venue was banning thongs at the beach and people noticed me laying on my stomach in tiny coverage i had on the buns and side strings. Some watched more intrigued, smirking getting others attention when i went into the water seeing if the waves can slip off my tiny rio...
The reaction once i setup on the beach from my clearwater condo where a women came from same building as well, was negative. She had a friend join her later and remarked too her how awful it was seeing a male wear such a thing, (black skinz, low rise, rio, skinny side string) as the other woman nodded in agreement.... As if they could do something to make me go away or leave distorting their view, while the finally moved further away that my eyes or theirs could see...

While another couple male and female walked towards the water seen my backside as they approached closer and closer. They both stared as i did to see their reactions smiling at the women's confusion of me, seeing her man was in small brief speedos himself... My impression was the wife of the male in speedos didn't like me much or how tiny it looked, compared to her conservative bikini....
Lastly was at the condo pool and noticed pack of 40 age women chatting in the cabana tent beside the pool. Once i came out of the pool, walked along to shower off, and walk back to my lounger... One women in the cabana noticed and leaned out while others just stood facing me what i was wearing. With their obvious reactions looks as they never seen a male in a tiny string rio before... Positive or negative was difficult to say but i certainly got their attention and interrupted their conversation for a moment or two..
While i wore a conservative boxer sqaure cut speedo to a local public pool i had one women compliment me on it while in the water. Don't see how she could notice me in the water. While i never was complimented in anything smaller or skimpier entire time i wear swimwear... Maybe because my bulge is blatantly seen which makes women uncomfortable to look or initiate conversation... So my opinion in my case the bulge is the focal point for women to view....

when it comes to the feminine reaction to seeing a guy in a thong or Gee, I know for a fact that it is all on the permissive outlook of her own sexual intensity, interest and desire.........of course, this does not - repeat, does not - include outta shape guys acting like Canadians on a florida beach during holiday.........so, with that said, presuming you're in halfway respectable shape in the physique department, how women will react to you is all a matter of their own sexual outlook.........if a babe is a square-peg pinhead & control-freak, she ain't gonna like the sight of ya even if you're in one of the more mambi-pambi modest thongs or G's that I read guys on this thread writing about.........however, if a babe is a dynamic live-and-let-live type, who enjoys and is not ashamed of her own sexuality, she's gonna like what she sees........back in the days when I was a semi-broke beach bum, I always hit the beach in one of my signature, bulging, mini-G's.......anyone who saw my profile before my pics got unexplainably removed - and not by me - or hung out with me at 'da splash,' knows me for my risqué swimsuit styles.......I should add that the beaches I hit were not well populated, by any means, but so what.........they were regular public beaches, and I made beach pals with a number of live-and-let-live gals who, despite their initial shock at my suits, got into seeing and B-S'ing with me........gals who were not totally sold on my G's, did seem to understand that da beach was da beach and that the rules of ordinary society did not necessarily apply.........so, I got away with doing what I was doing.....I would like to add that less than a handful of times did anyone of any sex make condemning or ridiculing remarks in my direction, and I'm talking years of bulging G-string beach-going..........consequently, the moral of my personal experience is that I bulged to my heart's-content with basically next to no crapola and essential overall tolerance.........try making a habit of cutting folks off on the highway and ya couldn't top that.......

Just another discriminatory practice at the pool if you can believe it... So you can't show your bulge at all, suppose he needs to be castrated in order to swim, others to feel  comfortable.... Can't imagine what they would do to me if they seen my huge bulge...

Good grief.  That's on the liberal side of the state too.  However, if the "two layer policy" is referring to the swimwear, it sounds like his swimsuit may have been unlined, which is going to show a lot more delineation/detail.  Given the color of it, if it is unlined, it was likely at least slightly see through as well.  If that's the case, even I would have a problem with that at a family friendly pool.

I have to imagine it's not just the buldge.  I've worn Aussiebum low rise squarecuts in the family pool at the YMCA for years with no problems whatsoever.  The fit is similar, and they definitely don't hide the budge, but they're double lined front and back.  It helps that mine are dark colors as well.

Well, after reading the artical twice and taking a closer look at the pictures I'll tend to agree with ShadowT, it's not so much the size of the bulge, that looks quite normal for speedo's or tight square cuts it more the fact the material is white, thin and unlined, the shorts in question must be fairly see-thru when wet...... That's enough for most pools, family orientated or not, to ask questions about your attire.
I recently purchased 2 pairs of true  Speedo trunks in white, they have about an inch and a half side and give good coverage both front and back,  i bought them for use at my local municipal pool, I cut the lining completely out of one pair and out of the rear on the other.......... What a mistake to make, I have now rendered both pairs only suitable for private occasions! With the lining in they would have been fine for any location, but without everything is on display, and I think I would be asking for the same treatment as this guy. Looks like I'll have to wait till my local TK Max restocks and leave the scissors alone!

It's not something i haven't done compared to what he wears. Even wearing a two layer swimwear people can see my outline bulge so i would probably be in the same predicament as him... Be difficult to prove i wear double layer under some of my swimwear.. Be funny to prove it while someone confronts me in the water, i would say, would you like to check to see for yourself?...,Lol....

I've worn white swimwear with two layers and it was sheer as anything with one layer swimsuits i own. Had same experience wearing much smaller brief white swimsuit and a nice attractive young associate seen me swim and shower in it. She didn't notice me walking alongside her on the pool deck until i was swimming a few laps next to her, while she stood coaching another male in the lane next to me. While she never said anything while i swam nor rinsing off using the pool deck shower, only watched me intensely, keeping her eyes on my bulge with every lap i came close to her end of the pool.... Feel her looks was intrigue or fascination rather then anger or upsetting to her morals, then why stare upon my bulge so intensely at every opportunity almost being distracted what she was doing...
I thought she was impressed or shocked seeing anyone big like me, maybe lusting after my body, it's known to happen with women before.... Yet few days later on the gym floor she wanted to confront me and let me know in no certain terms she thought of my penis clearly showing was not appropriate or decent.. She never told me, but the vibe i got from her sudden stare or glare while not interrupting my workout afraid to say a word, and while i was leaving she made it known, voicing her knowledge that indeed i like to show off my penis in sheer swimwear to anyone who would listen...... Thought she would be impressed but knowing she is very ultra-conservative prude and virgin to boot, it was troubling for her too comprehend as normal healthy hetro-male behavior and body....

Although i did get complaints wearing a thin red bikini lined suit which moulded my huge bulge in excellent shape...... Had another associate called down to the pool hearing the women's and male's complaint that i was inappropriately attired for the pool with kids around... Their hope was that associate would make me leave but she couldn't do anything only nod agreeing with their plea.... After that heard a women complain more so someone could hear that her beliefs of me wearing a thin bikini was showing too much or not covering me enough.... While it was heard around the pool some mom's standing by the pool deck clothed watching their kids taught to swim smiled or grinned and voicing their opinions back... One women joked he has a lot too show... while other mom's added you can't cover all that easily.. all chuckling with big smiles seemingly enjoying looking upon me shocked and surprised as they all were....

In another instance was a class of young toddlers being taught to float while sharing or using up a few lanes for other adults at the gym pool. Their was three instructors two females one very attractive asian another pudgy brunette and one male lifeguard.  While i was told when starting to swim not to use their swim lanes i was called over from adoring female to share her lane... As none was yet using the lanes waiting for kids to arrive the instructors were leaning against the pool wall watching over the water seeing some of us swim. While the hot female instructor sitting on the ground back to the water staring at the wall while explaining to the instructors how awful seeing someone like me attired in a green speedo which showed my outline yet was lined underneath.... The other instructors laughed at the asian's intolerance yet they said nothing nor cared just preoccupied on their cell phones while the asian sat staring at a blank wall.... While nobody had a problem seeing me in a tiny bikini speedo with a bigger bulge then normally anyone has at the pool seen, to upset this hot asian female who sadly tried her best never to look upon me at all....

After i left changed, leaving the gym locker room, i walked towards the outside window passing bye seen the asian instructor holding onto a toddler on a board in the pool. She stared directly at me, seemingly recognized who i was fully clothed as i was walking out. It was weird that this hot female instructor couldn't dare to tolerate my speedo in the pool but once i was clothed she couldn't help stare not concerned with the child she was holding in the water which was more then a glance towards me.... While her stare when i was clothed wasn't anger but intrigue and maybe interest in how i look... Just shows some females are so uncomfortable seeing a male showing off his entire toned body and big bulge they can't dare to look upon you.... In most cases i believe women's uncomfortable feelings looking at a male bulge big or not  in a way they can't control their lust or desires not to say they would jump on it but difficult for them to think clearly tasks at hand....

As i know women have a special penis proclivity once it is shown or visible to their eyes. Lot of information has to be processed in order for women to accept seeing a male bulge or penis outline, thus they counter act this by negativity or refusal to ignore it...... That is why some women get giddy with laughter after seeing a male bulge or penis outline clearly seen. While others angry upset that what they see is private personal and never been brought out for anyone to view... this way this eliminates voyeurs or thinking thoughts they maybe not wanting to experience at that moment.. While many women who are more relaxed just ignore or enjoy the show that is in front of them maybe even complimenting a male like me from time to time as it happened to me...

mack i've got no problem with you doing what you do, but you sound more like a hardcore exhibitionist than the folk here that just want to wear a thong at the beach without being bothered.  Wouldn't a forum for exhibitionism be more appropriate?

wearthongs i don't mind being bothered on the way i look in a good way.... As other forum you mentioned, exhibitionists, know me very well, explaining what i do while not supporting my attire, while most exhibitionist go further then i imagine are pretty crazy for my tastes... While many find me weird wearing a thong thinking whatever floats my boat is not their cup of tea, usually shun me for my choice of clothing... Can you believe it an exhibitionist telling me they don't feel wearing a thong appropriate so people feel at ease with me...

What you call me exhibitionist i call confidence owning it as many here call too say we all need to do... Some say it's cockiness or  over confidence whatever the label i'm proud and not afraid what i wear or not wear on the nude beach.....

Why is it that you guys worry about every little thing of no value on this planet?  Grow up and start acting like grown men instead of little boys given into scary stories rendered next to a campfire late at night in the suburbs of a  major city?Should your fellow board members continue to believe you to be scared of your own shadows??? Quit whining and start acting mature and confident in your decision to think and act independently, not like some little child scared of placing its toe in a tub of bathwater!!!  Grow up!!!  Suck it up and live by your decision to think and dress differently from the masses of sheep that you currently  consider your peers!

The suit looks like it would be see-through when wet. Which isn't really appropriate for a public pool. Sorry, but if your junk is visible, you shouldn't be wearing it in a regular envoriment.
