However, the folks from this board and other regular male thongers tend to use the south end of Venice on the other side of the pier between Ketch and Privateer lifeguard towers.

I remember bicycling about a mile past the Santa Monica pier and watching some girls - mostly wearing thongs - play volleyball. Ketch and Privateer must be in the opposite direction.

I wore my black Muscleskins micro thong for a couple of hours. In general a great day warm and sunny it felt really good to be back and enjoy the sun after a long time of not visiting this place. I did not see anyone else on this day wonder if is still a popular thong spot.

Like you, I was the only one -- but in fairness, the weather was not very good and there were few people out at all, let alone in thongs. However, those who WERE there didn't hassle me or even photograph me (if they did, they were so discreet that I don't even mind). As long as I don't get hassled, I don't really care if I'm the only one in a thong.
Since we live in Vegas, going to Venice Beach is strictly a sometimes thing. I've been twice in two years, both times when my wife was busy with her friends. We're headed to Black's Beach together next time, not because we don't like Venice but because it's not much farther and why even wear a thong if you don't have to. |

I was there all day yesterday, in a Black Bravura, just a few yards from the Privateer tower. I rarely see anyone on South Venice Beach wearing a thong, but lots of users here say that's where they go. Perhaps there are more thongers there on weekends. The weather in L.A. has been terrible this summer for beachgoers, but things are improving, so I'll be back soon. |

I've seen weekdays where a good amount of us thongers come and days where no one is around. I been coming here for a few years now and never had any issues with Police or Beach goers.

Gonna try next friday if weather is favorable.

Rose Ave. is on the northern cusp between Venice Beach and Santa Monica Beach, yet right in the middle of all the boardwalk action. I have finding parking limited on Pacific Ave., the only real place to park if going to MDR. Will go on the 14th of this month and report, have a happy Labor Day Weekend!

Walked from the pier lot in my Jovana 4D to between Ketch & Outrigger. Set up camp then moved a bit further south to get away from some noisy kids. I also did my trash pick up walk for about 45 minutes and saw no other males in thongs. The thongs I saw were located near me. A woman with her boyfriend & 2 other girls & me. On the walk back to the truck I saw no other thongs, but there was a foto incident. See the story in Personal Experiences.

i was the only thonger. wearing a little purple gregg gstring and got a really nice little tan line. no other thongers but saw one guy walking down the beach in a hot cheeky pair of briefs. his butt was made for them. and a nudist who was close the the waters edge in a little black mesh c*ck sock who would run in and out the water. nice guy. said a few nudists on the weekdays, without life guards around, further down the beach. I would love to join him sometime. i can't believe LA doesn't have a 'sanctioned' nude beach. crazy... i'm hoping for a few more nice weekends to play at the beach again! |

Please cutback on starting new threads. Post replies to to existing threads on the subject.
If you want to cut and paste from your word processor do not do it directly.
First paste it into notepad or other basic ascii editor so that the formatting codes are removed, then cut again. This will give you clean posts.
