I was wearing a muscleskin poser type thong with a pouch and a bunch of c-rings. I got some compliments, a lot of neutral over heard comments, and a couple of bad ones. The bad ones were just the local youth telling me to put more clothes on but their opinion doesn't matter. One guy on a bike rode up to me and said it was "gross" that I was wearing a thong and told a police officer nearby. The officer took one look at me and shrugged saying all the important bits were covered up. Overall it was a good day and I'm tempted to wear even less next time! |

The boardwalk is fine to walk too but gets a little judgmental near Windward Ave. which is main entrance near the overhanging Venice sign and the skatepark. If you do walk the boardwalk in a thong you'll definitely get a lot of looks. I would recommend sunglasses so you can watch people watch you as you walk by.My advice, just do it! Who cares what those people think, I wear thongs because I like to wear them!

The weather was absolutely perfect with maybe just a little too much wind but not annoying. I set up in the middle the beach just close to the muscle Beach area but near the beach front. I don't like to go to ketch tower it's too far out-of-the-way. The beach was a little busy in the main area but the outskirts of the beach we're not busy at all.
It must've been thong Tuesday, because literally every girl was in either a thong or an extreme cheeky bikini! It was easier to count the number of women in full bottom swimsuits then in thongs. I didn't see any topless but sit did see a couple G strings too. I wore my white skins M1G string for most of the time with no issues. I walked almost all the way up to Santa Monica and then back almost all the way down to ketch tower in this G string. I had no issues or complaints and had a few thumbs up. Overall just everyone was chill and relaxed and it was so much fun. The only complaint I got was at the very end after I had gone back to my car I decide to drop my towel off and walk back out to the beach for five more minutes to savor the moment. As I got there some jack ass started saying something about there are kids there. He didn't have any kids he was with a group of other adults and there weren't too many kids around. On top of that I've been on the beach in the same G string for five hours! I just looked at him and shook my head turn around and walk back to my car. That was the only downer of the day and it happened in the last five minutes. |

It was super busy today but I walked the entire beach again starting from Ketch Tower all the way to the end of the Boardwalk and back wearing a pouch g string from tropical thongs on ebay and a bunch of c-rings and ball weights.
It was such a great day! I got a lot of compliments including "wow that's ballsy of you to wear" to "where did you get that thong?" next time I'd like to wear something a little transparent to push the limits even further. I got a lot of other comments but the best part is that I can choose to ignore them! One girl said it was "aggressive that I was wearing a g-string and said you know that's illegal in some countries" and I happily responded "Not the in great US of A!" I'd highly recommend walking the Boardwalk in a thong as long as you're a bit thick skinned |

Cabbie dropped me off near muscle beach (I had requested the pier). Walked south almost to the pier and found a spot not too close to others. Fuschia N2N Maverick, my new favorite, not the skimpiest tho. No problems. More people out than I expected on a Tues but great weather and school break brought the crowds. Cab round trip LAX Venice was about $65 including tip. Thanks for the advice, naysayers missed out.

All the thong action is north of Ketch, I was of course north of Galleon and for the first time, thongs outnumbered cheecky AND traditional bottoms. Men's trunks are getting more fitted and shorter but I did not see another male thonger as far as a walk to Privateer St.It's time to get the locals going again to claim our stretch of beach!
