I have heard that thongs and gstrings are acceptable and almost anything goes as long as your not nude. Anyone have experience with Virgin?

On deck 17, there is the Perch which allows topless sunbathing and thonged on deck with no issues but later on I decided to get brave and thong on the deck above the pool in full view of people walking the deck and no one said anything. It was refreshing to be able to just be yourself on a cruise.

Orlspeedo: your report sounds very promising. Am I seeing things correctly in that they only have one pool and a single hotub on the ship? That sounds like it would be super over crowded. Overall how spacious would you say the places to get some sun are? If just on a sea day is there enough deck space to actually be able to move around? Wounded if doing laps on the running track in a thong would be ok? exercise and a tan would be awesome multitasking:-)

Hot tubs are scattered throughout the ship so there is way more than one hot tub. There is one area on the ship called the Perch which is topless although I never saw any women using it. That is where I initially thonged with no issues, but by the end of the cruise, I thonged on the deck above the pool and there were plenty of chairs to go around. Others walked by while I was laying out but no one said anything. It was just a cool vibe and everyone was having a good time. I didn't see anyone in thongs doing laps, but you probably could if your brave enough. LOL
