Have any of you thongers ever worn a thong when you are pregnant? I am 2 months along and I am starting to show but not overly so. I am going to Cancun over the Christmas weekend with my husband and would like to wear a thong. Just wondering on the opinion and experience of the people here! Have a wonderful Xmas! |

She has worn them on public beaches. Oddly enough, more people are supportive of her wearing them when she was pregnant, than when she wears them now. I guess it is the whole "feeling comfortable with your body" thing that women seem to respect with pregnant women. I have seen numerous women wearing thong suits when pregnant and think it is a beautiful thing. Go to cancun...thong away....and have a ball!!!

It's not like you won't show in a more conservative suit, so wear what you like and Know you'll look great. If other's don't like it that's their problem, not yours. Peace Popeye

It is a beach pic and she is wearing a thong bikini, although the pic is from the front so you cant really see it. She is also only about 12 weeks in the pic, so she is not showing very much

Unfortunately, I have some problems in accessing that flickr picture of your wife but I would really like to see it. I just got back from Cancun. It was a short but wonderful trip. I wore my WW g-strings at the hotel pool and at the the beach along the hotel and the beach in Isla Mujeres. My husband and I took a stroll along the beach in front of our hotel and on the beach in Isla Mujeres. My husband took pictures of me and we really had a great time. There were no problems at all, although there were definitely some curious looks and stares. I am 10 weeks pregnant and it is not really showing so actually it was much different from wearing a thong right now versus when I am not pregnant. I don't think I don't think I will be confident enough to wear it when I am really showing. For this trip, as I am pregnant, I am sub-consciously looking out for pregnant women! And despite the large numbers of women in bikinis in Cancun, I didn't see any other woman wearing a bikini at all and looking obviously pregnant. But that is just me... Thanks for all the encouragement and feedback. Hope you have a great 2010. |

One big advantage of a tiny bikini or thong is that you don't have all that material pulling on your abdomen. These women all looked very comfortable, and were obviously enjoying themselves despite the fact that one of them was so large she was having a bit of trouble walking in the soft sand. And I agree with the others, a pregnant woman on a nude beach is a beautiful sight.

Like everyone else a pregnant woman is amazingly beautiful and I think you should wear whatever you feel like wearing.

I was at Club One gym this afternoon laying out by the pool in my Joe Snyder MiniCheeks and there was a woman doing laps in a thong. She had a great butt and back muscles. I was surprised when she got out of the pool that she must be 5-6 months pregnant. She looked great! Obviously she felt fine walking back up to the locker room without even a towel around. It was a great view from behind.

I've also heard other pregnant women make disparaging remarks about their appearance. I don't see what the problem is because I think pregnant women are beautiful. It's no fetish, that's just an awesome thing they can do that I can't. In my opinion stretch marks ought to be seen as a badge of honor.
Go ahead and wear that bikini. If it has a thong back that's even better! Why should you have to buy another suit when a good bikini (especially a thong) will continue to fit you throughout your pregnancy? You look great already, don't worry about it! |

Please cutback on starting new threads. Post replies to to existing threads on the subject.
If you want to cut and paste from your word processor do not do it directly.
First paste it into notepad or other basic ascii editor so that the formatting codes are removed, then cut again. This will give you clean posts.
